This kettle is everything I was looking for and more. It combines everything you could possibly want into one unit. It has a sleek glass design, a touch, control base, tea infuser, and the best of all, no contact with plastic. It took me months to find this and I am extremely satisfied.

Zwilling Enfinigy Electric Kettle is a perfect size (1.7L) for brewing a perfect cup of tea for family and friends! What I like the most about this beautifully crafted product is that I just use one kettle to both boil, brew and serve my perfect cup of tea. It's so efficient and it allows me to keep the tea warm at a desired temperature by using the touch keypad. I can always see the amount of tea remaining in the pot to know when I need to make more.

We have a number of Zwilling products, including two hot water kettles. They look great and work even better. Especially this new glass one. Amazed how much quiet this one is. Gets used five or six times a day. At times, I even use it to start water boiling for say vegetables going on the stove. Same goes for the other Zwilling products - super coffee maker, air fryer, and knives that you can't beat.

The water container's glass body cracked around the handle when I gently inserted the lid after cleaning. Regular descaling proves essential as mineral build-up forms directly above the heating element after a few days, despite our extensive water filtration system. Ultimately, we like the look and function of the kettle and have decided to replace it with the same model.

Very difficult to use. Controls are insensitive to the touch and requires repeated touches. Temperature is also locked to Fahrenheit which is absurd. Why is this product sold in regions that use Celsius, which is most of the world?

Product is good and well designed but very disappointed a product being sold and distributed in Canada is not able to measure and display temperatures in Celcius.

Rust on the inside after one single use. Trash product. Don't buy from here.

Zero star because the kettle bottom rusted in <1 year. I bought it for “no plastic touching boiling water”. The controls on the base are hard to see, especially when turning the kettle on (when no other controls are on). I am back to using Breville glass kettle.

I used it only twice, and it stopped working. very disappointed with the quality.

TLDR: Pros: Non-toxic materials, brewing filter for tea, custom temperature options. Cons: Plastic, non-rubberized handle, flat touch panel (no buttons), filter built into lid (needs to be removed before filling), expensive. I purchased this item specifically because I read that it uses the safest materials and design on the market - in terms of material toxicity and electrical safety. It functions as intended and I love the filter in the lid to brew fresh custom tea. However, it lacks some quality of life features that other models have. 1) The handle is plastic. Other models have a rubbery grip and the handle on the other models extends all the way to the base, to prevent slipping. 2) The flat touch panel is not satisfying. Other models have a simple switch that you can press for basic heating. 3) The lid requires removal before filling with water. Other models have a lid that flips open, and a lever to do so easily with one hand. I understand that this might be a tricky redesign, given the filter in this one. It would be great if the filter was an optional insert, separate from the lid. For these drawbacks the price is quite high. But it gets the job done, so it’s okay.

I bought this less than two years ago and the plastic part cracked.

The glass holds on to the condensation after the water boils. The bottom othe kettle has already started to warp with blue and grey stains at the base on the inside of the kettle.

Bought the Zwelling Glass Electric Kettle about 8 months ago. The first one didn't work properly and had to be returned. We like the way if works and looks but the kettle gets a lot of scale on the bottom and needs to be cleaned often; at times it looks like rust. During the last cleaning the glass kettle shattered so it's no good to use now. The glass is thin, didn't hold up well. Very surprised at how easy it was to break... will probably go back to a stainless steel kettle as they Zwelling replace the kettle for us.

While the kettle has a nice industrial design, the software is lacking. There is no precise temperate control (the plus/minus buttons only do time control), there's no changing temperature without rebooting the kettle, and there is only one brightness level. Thankfully, the sound can be muted.

It's a beautifully designed tea kettle, among other duties. It works well, as expected with German manufacturing. I highly recommend this product and I hope to have it for some years. (I'm old school)
