Q: I have noticed that some bottle caps were loose. The seal was not completely tight. At least a couple bottles in every 12 pack that I’ve bought. You had a major recall in 2022 because of similar issue. How do I report this issue?

Q: One the bottle is opened is it safe to save the rest in the fridge for a later feeding or does it need disposed of?

  • A: Great question! Once the 2 fl oz bottle has been opened and poured into your baby’s clean bottles, both the formula in your baby’s bottles and any left in the 2 fl oz bottle should be refrigerated immediately and used within 2 days. However, if your baby doesn’t finish a bottle of formula within one hour, throw it away. When a baby starts drinking from a bottle, bacteria that are naturally present in your baby's mouth enter the bottle through the nipple hole. If any formula is left in the bottle after the feeding, these bacteria will grow in the leftover formula. Refrigerating the bottle and reheating it later will not stop the growth of bacteria. Q: How many days can they remain preserved outside the refrigerator, before the bottle seal is broken?

  • A: If the container is still sealed, try to keep it between 55 and 75 degrees F, but the acceptable temperature range is between 32 and 95 degrees F. You might notice changes in the way it looks or tastes if exposed to really high temps so it's best to follow these guidelines. Our products are stamped with a Use-By date, which is the first day of the month listed on the container. It's best to buy and use the formula by that date. Don't give your baby anything after the Use-By date listed on the package. - The Similac Team

  • A: The different forms of Similac infant formulas are comparable nutritionally, but you may notice the liquid is a little bit thicker and darker in color compared to prepared powder. Good quality, could be better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was great for our little one, and easy to keep while on the move. Our baby took to this fairly decently, but would still had runny stool. It worked in a pinch several times when dad forgot to bring the milk while out and about.

Perfect for On the go!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a momma ( or dad ) you know that sometimes making the formula straight and bringing it with you is a hassle. Having it premade and easily accessible for your baby is sucha game changer! I’m very much a fan of using these specifically on the go. My little one doesn’t get bad gas with it either. It doesn’t have a gross smell and it’s easy to store in the diaper bag.

Great Product!

Great formula!

They are pre-proportioned, ready to feed, and portable. I appreciate that there is a single use nipple provided. Storage is easy and they can be kept unopened at room temperature. I have them in my diaper bag, on my night table, and in the kitchen because my baby gets hungry every few hours. It is very convenient, the packaging is mess free and disposable, and baby seems to like the formula.

Great!
