A: I came here to say the same thing. My nose is highly sensitive to smells. My nose actually burns when I open the package. I haven’t looked into what the scent is or if it is chemically made.
A: Agreed. White packages have a light scent that isn't very strong. The new purple packages have an overpowering, unpleasant scent. It is too strong, we can't use them and now have to find a new brand.

While all our ingredients and products are thoroughly evaluated to be safe and effective when used as directed, we recognize some people may have personal sensitivities. If you had an allergic reaction, we recommend you discontinue using the pads and/or seek medical attention if symptoms worsen or do not resolve.
