It works but...
The band really dug into my skin, and the heating and cooling piece was too big to stay in place comfortably. If it were smaller and had a different band, I'd give it 10 stars! It did work, but it wasn't the right fit for me. I'm sure it's wonderful for others though.

Thanks for the feedback! In a perfect world, we'd love to make an Embr Wave that would be as small as a postage stamp, have double the cooling power, and also last for weeks between charges. We're really proud of the power and performance we were able to pack into a device the size of the Wave, but we do understand that it's not the perfect fit for everyone out there. Good product, but overly expensive
The product came a lot later than expected, but I understand that as this was an international purchase. When it arrived, it was packaged very plainly, in a white box. I liked that the components were easy to recycle with minimal plastic. The product itself is beautiful, the magnetic wrist watch system was amazing - it fits anyone. The cooling part is very nice, however it took me a while to understand how to turn it on without the app. The warming part is great as well, but could be a little bit hot, even when calibrating it. The app itself was a nice addition, however, it stopped pairing and I could not troubleshoot it at all. Overall, I like this product, it does work well for me, but it is not worth 300 dollars, which is why I put it at 3/5 stars.

I am a 72 year old male on ADT for prostate cancer. Have plenty of hot flashes both day and night. Have had the Embr for several weeks and find it is most beneficial at night. I’ve tried the provided programs; but found when I’m awakened in “a sweat” a couple clicks on the cool button and I’m quickly back to sleep. It’s ok, cool is nice, heat burned me
It’s ok. It does help with knocking down the daily feeling of hot flashes but it won’t stop them or help as a ‘rescue’ tool. I’ll Probably keep it but I’ll see. Be careful of the heat settings, I got a 1st degree burn from the hottest setting.

Embr Wave has both hardware and software safeguards to prevent it from reaching temperatures hot enough to burn skin, so we'd definitely want to learn more about what happened with your device. (Also wanted to make sure you were aware that you can adjust the temperature at any time by using the dotted button to make things cooler or the blank button to make things warmer, so you should always have a quick way to make adjustments if the temperature isn't feeling just right!)

My bonus mom got me this due to awful hot flashes! This thing is amazing! I don’t know how I would’ve got through these last couple years without it. At the start of the hot flash, I pushed the button and then less than 30 seconds it’s gone! Give it a try it will surprise you!

I’m pleased that the battery lasts a long time.
I wasn’t sure what I thought about this and the more I tried it and used it the more I think I like it. I do believe it relieves the intensity of my hot flashes, which is an improvement. Still getting accustomed to it and sometimes forget to wear it. But I think it’s a keeper and it’s been nice to have the option of the heat as well when I’m out in the cold on my walks.

I gave it a 4 because, I wish the battery lasted longer. And I'd like a different band. My husband got the Embr wave 2 for me on Christmas and I'm figuring it out,but so far it has been a blessing in my Hot flash moments.

Lifesaver
Embr Wave has been a life saver for me. I have dysautonomia and my body cannot control its temperature. I am always hot and drenched my clothes as I sleep. Using this has helped dramatically. I am grateful for finding this product.

Life changing!
I have experienced night sweats since my 20s. This little miracle has relieved so much of that. It's not 100% improved but I've gone from losing up to 10 days a month to awful nights to 2-3. I even took it on a trip to Puerto Rico in June and enjoyed relief during hikes through Old San Juan!

Didn't work for me.
Thermonuclear hot flashes, 2-3 per hour, from Androgen Deprivation therapy for Prostate cancer. Did not work for me. They accepted return no problem. I'm sure it works for some.
