Q: How does this attach to the breast pump? Is there an adapter? I'd like to be able to pump directly into the bag.

  • A: There is an attachment for your breast pump now for Lansinoh bags, I use it daily, its awesome!

  • A: I use them with my Lansinoh smartpump. You just slide the threaded part you would normally screw onto the bottle, into the top of the bag. The first time I did it I was scared it would slide off, but it’s pretty secure. I’ve never had it slide off. I understand that you can get an adapter for other types of pumps, but I haven’t used them.

  • A: No there isn't holes to attach it to a breast pump. Many mothers just put there own holes in at the top of the bag. It works just as good

  • A: Not officially, but on occasion, I have used rubber bands to attached these to a pump. You just have to be careful since the rubber bands are more to help seal the opening, rather than secure the bag to the pump.

  • A: Bottles warmers get pretty hot, so I wouldn't. Submerge the bags in a container of hot water and they'll thaw in a few minutes.

    LEAKS

    I used these bags to store breast milk while exclusively pumping for five months. As an oversupplier, I had a significant amount of milk to freeze, and initially, I had no issues filling or storing the bags. However, now that I’ve begun using the frozen milk, I’ve discovered that many of the bags have developed holes and are leaking. This is incredibly disappointing and unacceptable, especially considering the time, effort, and care that goes into pumping and storing breast milk. The loss of this milk is devastating—it represents countless hours of work and cannot simply be replaced or measured in monetary terms. I truly believe this is a serious quality issue that warrants attention from Lansinoh, as it has resulted in a substantial and meaningful loss.

    Thick material

    I love these lansinoh milk storage bags. The plastic is really thick and when you freeze it it doesn’t leave wrinkles in the bad. It’s easy to pour milk in it and easy to pour the milk out of it when it’s defrosted.

    Sturdy and reliable!

    These bags are so awesome. I had over 4000 oz. Saved up in the freezer. I saved so much and never got holes in them. The ounces were super accurate too!

    These bags are the only ones I’ve liked using since day 1 of breastfeeding my twins. The best! The shape makes it super easy to freeze flat and bag up.

    Scared they will leak

    These are very hard to close so I'm scared they could leak my milk that I worked very hard for. They're also super thin and I prefer a more sturdy bag. But they work for what you need them for.

    The best milk storage bags!

    The BEST breastmilk storage bags! I used them with my first, and will definitely use them again with any future children! You can get a good amount of milk in them without the bags ripping and stores easily.

    Used to be great, now dont bother.

    These used to be great and the only bags I used. Now they’re much thinner, and more often than not leak out the top of the zipper on the side seam. I’ve wasted so many bags because like 1 out of every 3 or 4 doesn’t leak. I will be switching brands once I’m through the ones I have.

    My go-to storage bags

    I love these breastmilk storage bags! I exclusively pumped two babies and stored all of my milk in these. They stack really well so I could easily store them and keep them organized in freezer bags. I’ve never had any issues with milk leaking either which made the whole experience stress-free

    The bag works fine to store your milk however I loose some milk when pouring in from my wearable because of the oval flaps. No matter how I position it they always get in the way and makes a mess, some losses have been more than others. I wish it had a better design. These are definitely better for storing milk directly in them when pumping from a wall pump.

    Leaks

    I’ve lost at least 8 oz due to them leaking, it’s super frustrating cause I try to make sure that the seals are locked but once I put them in the fridge they leak everywhere.

    Easy storage

    Many fit in my freezer. It comes with a label for times, and dates. Stands my bottle warmer so it's easy to dethaw. Fits right on my pump. I can store so many with little space taken up in my freezer .

    Great Bag Overall

    The bags were great! They had no leaking & kept the milk fresh. They were easy to use when defrosting I like how it stayed sealed ! It was easy to transfer to the bottle as well. I can say I wish the bag was a bit more thick.

    Super convenient and easy to use as a mom, however I have had a few leak or split which is frustrating when thawing. They freeze easily when laid down and easier than others to get the bubbles out.
