Libbey Baker's Basics 2 Piece Glass Casserole Baking Dish Set with Glass Covers

I wanted healthy non-toxic microwave safe cookware for heating food. These are perfect! Great for heating standard 15 oz cans of vegetables or beans, which fills the bowl about half way. Also needed a safe non-plastic lid to prevent splatter in the microwave. So the glass lids are also perfect! Exactly the size needed for cooking smaller dishes. I'm sure to find oven cooking uses as well. The following is not negative and does not diminish the quality of the product in any way. I was a little disappointed for nostalgia reasons that the bottom of the bowls were not imprinted with the traditional Anchor Hocking name, logo, quart size, "microwave & dishwasher safe", etc. as is traditional for glass bake-ware. It does say Mexico which confirms the advertised country of origin.

The lids do not fit at all tightly. They slide around on top.

The glass is very durable, they are small enough to put up. They are like other casserole dishes and do well in the I’ve . Also being so small very easy to clean. So now I can just make myself one squash and bake it for to add to a healthy meal. Or even cook one fish in it. Without dirtying a huge dish if I’m just cooking for myself. Worth having!

I put some rice and chicken in this dish and cooked in the oven and it was just enough for one person. Only one dish to clean instead of a bunch of pots and pans. It’s durable and I love it!
