A: Hello - this is meant for a car and needs to be plugged into USB to use. You could try it in a small room but we would recommend the Pura 4 if it is going to be used in the home.

Poor Battery Life
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Car Pro over the basic car model because I didn't want to have something that needed to stay plugged in all the time. However, the battery life on the car pro is so poor that I have to keep it plugged in all the time. I don't drive very much, and I've only had the car pro for about 2 weeks now, and it flashes the red light indicating low battery every single time I get in the car. Incredibly frustrating for an item at this price point. Additionally, the device doesn't recognize the scent disc when it's fully inserted. You have to insert it only about halfway (not all the way in) for the device to recognize it. I'm not sure if I just happened to receive a defective device or if this is the norm, but I'm dissatisfied with the car pro. At this price point, it should work. And for a device this new, the battery life should not be this abysmal.

Could use improvements such as I’d like for my app to tell me how much I have left, when it’s time to replace. As of now when I stop smelling scents for a few days I just replace cartilage. Sometimes I also have to take cartilage out and put back in for it to register there is one in there. Otherwise I really enjoy my Car Pura.

I love my Pura pro.

Don’t bother
Diffuser no longer recognizes fragrance disc after two weeks of owning. When it did work, scent only lasted a week. Overpriced and awkward placement.

Pura Car Freshener for the Win
The difference I have noticed since adding this to my car. My sister just opened my door and she could smell the new fragrance. It definitely allows my car to smell amazing and it’s all the time not just when I am driving and I can absolutely say no other fresheners have done that before. Usually they have already lost all their smell after a week.
