Honestly the strongest tape. I taped a bunch of metal forks to a flannel and wore it around for a full evening. none of them fell off.

Don’t use transparent tape for wrapping
I’ve decided y’all don’t actually want me to leave this review because it keeps freezing up as soon as I get done with this part I can never get through. The one star is only for the transparent tape. Do not use it to wrap presents. The tape is too thick for what they give you to tear with. You cannot hold the paper up with one hand in your finger through the hole and rip. You need to have one hand on the tape and the other hand, ripping it which makes wrapping presence extremely difficult and takes so much longer. I can hardly bend my finger today without pain from the huge gas. I got from the tape. I had to use so much force to try and tear it. The tape either dug into my finger or it would tear with so much force. The tape would flip up and attach to my finger every once in a while it would tear normally though.

Great idea, bad execution
I was excited about the paper tape but it’s not tacky enough for taping gift wrapping & at $5 a roll, I’m disappointed and feel a little greenwashed. On the plus side, it is thicker.

I gave this 2 stars for incorrect labeling.
I got this product to make a map of a world I was building. Purchasing this due to its supposed use for labeling and art, I expected this to take ink from art pens and markers. THIS NOT WHAT YOU GET. I tried multiple kinds of ink but the only ones I was able to get to work was sharpie and your everyday pens. If all your wanting to do is put this on containers as labels, this might work. But for any art project look elsewhere.

Amazing for sheet music and other paper uses
An amazing alternative to regular clear tape. Really flexible and won’t yellow over time. It’s not quite as sticky as regular tape, so you do have to give it a good once-over of pressure at first, but then it sticks just fine. I’m a professional musician and this is excellent for taping sheet music. Regular tape is stiff and turns brittle and yellow within a few years, and this stuff solves those issues. I wish it was cheaper, but maybe that will happen over time.

It holds quite well and doesn’t seem to come off easily when it isn’t meant to. All in all I’d reccommend it for labelling especially for using to label frozen foods/lunch box items.

Even though it is made out of paper, it is highly resistant to water. Even if it gets wet, the paper tape will stay put. Highly recommend it for any packing needs.

Nice way to lessen plastic consumption

I have been trying to find new ways to reduce the amount of plastic my household consumes, and I was excited to learn about this tape! I like that it’s paper, of course, that it is semi-transparent, and that you can easily write on it. It’s easy to tear, and I like that I don’t have to spin it around a bunch to try and find where the end is to pull and tear (it’s the worst when you lose that end!). I will say it wasn’t as sticky as I thought it would be, but that’s ok-I will just use it for things that don’t need super sticky tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a crafter and customer of Scotch brand products, I really really wanted to enjoy using and reviewing the Scotch Paper Tape. I used it in various different home projects and crafts such as taping many homework helper posters to a wall, taping two cardboard toilet paper rolls together, taping gift paper, etc. It's a great concept. It does easily tear by hand, and the tape did change to a clear color on most of the items as advertised. Unfortunately, the adhesive does not hold/stick for long at all. It immediately unstuck from almost every item, causing me to have to use regular clear Scotch tape.

Handy little tape
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Handy little rolls of tape. Easy to tear by hand. While it's not completely translucent, you can see through it. It's not super sticky, which makes it fairly easy to remove without damaging whatever you stick it to. My daughter has used it to tape down her string when making bracelets/necklaces.. It's basically like painters tape in small rolls.
