Zevo Flying Insect Trap uses light to continuously attract flying insects (house flies, fruit flies and gnats) and capture them on to an adhesive backing that you never have to touch without chemical insecticides, odors or messes! Replace refill cartridge when it's full of insects. Check it every 15 days or as needed. KEEP ZEVO PLUGGED IN 24/7 FOR BEST RESULTS: DO place in electrical outlets that are easily accessible and near common areas. DO use in an indoor electrical outlet where flying insects enter into the home such as garages and enclosed porches/patios (near entryways), and where they tend to gather, such as in kitchens, near fruits and vegetables, trash cans, houseplants, drains, etc. DO try other locations and electrical outlets if ZEVO is not attracting flying insects. Q: According to the reviews, this lasts about 15 days. How much are the refills? Also, some reviews says it works on mesquitos and some say it doesn't. Which is correct?

submitted by YiaYiaCarol - 2 years ago
  • A: ATTRACTS FLIES INTO KITCHEN

submitted byDEE - 1 year ago
  • A: How long the refills lasts, will depend on the amount of bug traffic you have, and when you'd like to change it. Yes, the Trap woks on mosquitos.

  • A: It lasts wayy longer than 15 days. Of course though it depends on how bad your bug infestation is. Personally for your everyday pests that come inside, one sticky trap lasts for about a month if not longer. It does work on mosquitos, moths, gnats, etc. I've even seen little roaches get caught in it.

submitted byGemma - 1 year ago
  • A: Not effective at all.

submitted bycookiepatti - 1 year ago
  • A: Mine have been very helpful and last months! The stick lasts and hold onto the fattest house flies! I would say it lasts until it's full!

Q: just bought one and it says 3 count on website and store tag. how is it 3 count? I have one device and one cartridge.

submitted by heather a - 3 years ago
  • A: When you have a little time, please reach out to Target at 1-800-440-0680, so this can be taken care of for you, Heather.

  • A: They count the Base, the Cartridge AND the refill. Technically correct since you have to “attach” the first two, BUT no Consumer thinks like that. To Us, it’s two pieces! Nevertheless, it WORKS!

submitted byhearbetty - 3 years ago
  • A: Raid Light Trap box says similar - not a Target issue. It is a cartridge, not a "refill" cartridge as it is for filling device not refilling. Very misleading. Almost makes me want to return it.

submitted byJennifer - 2 years ago
  • A: Because there is a unit that target also sells that has one main plug in unit and 3 refill cartridges. The one you bought is for one cartridge and one plug in unit. Someone could have mistakenly placed a unit in the wrong space on the shelf.

Q: Does this help with stink bugs?

submitted by Kate - 2 years ago
  • A: I haven’t used this product but I think it wouldn’t be useful for stink bugs because if it catches them they will release their “stink”.. So it may work in the capturing but you’d have to deal with the smell!

submitted byBrittA - 1 year ago
  • A: We have not tested the Trap for stink bugs, but have heard of it working for insects we haven't tested. We hope you'll let us know if you give it a try, Kate!

Q: Hi. Does it work on mosquitoes? I need for my bedroom and not get bite

This bug catcher is amazing! I have had this plugged in my kitchen for 2 months, even behind a big sign. When we go to bed this is the only light on in the kitchen so any bugs that are in the kitchen and living room area are attracted to that area. Proof is in the picture!

Did not work at all for us. Caught about three fruit flies out of dozens. I finally made a homemade trap with apple cider vinegar, soap, and plastic wrap and had dozens of fruit flies in each trap within hours.
1 reply from Zevo Insect team - 8 days ago
Thanks for reaching out, Janelle. We're sorry to hear that you're not noticing as many bugs as you'd expect. To ensure maximum performance, we recommend checking that the light on the device is on and glowing blue. If the trap isn’t catching bugs, it can often be due to placement. The traps work best when they’re in spots that are easily accessible to flying insects, so avoid placing in spots where it’s hard for flying insects to access, like behind furniture, curtains or other tucked-away spots. Many flying insects access homes near exterior doors, so if you have an outlet near one of those, it’s usually a good spot. Please know that we will be sharing your comments with the rest of our team. If you have any additional questions or concerns, or if your trap still is not working effectively, please give us a call, so we can help: (866) 215-1297

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the design, it’s very sleek and doesn’t look tacky or obvious. The subtle glowing blue light also looks cool. It’s super easy to use, it took me less than 5 minutes to set up and plug in. It doesn’t make any noise that I noticed, so it being quiet is a plus. It looks and feels durable and of good quality.

We get little flies by our front door. So I purchased one just to test trial. I placed one by the front door and seriously, not even 5 mins this thing had about 3 little flies already. Already purchasing more to put in our kitchen by the fruits to catch the fruit flies. And it's assembled in a way where I don't see the flies and the clean up/replacement is easy.

1 reply from Customer Care team - 13 days ago
We're sorry you haven't captured flies when using our Zevo Flying Insect Trap in your camper, Gram. Our trap was designed to attract and trap a variety of flying insects, particularly those like flies that are attracted to our dual spectrum of blue & UV light. If the trap isn't catching bugs within a week of being placed in an outlet, we recommend moving it to another location. It's best to place the trap where the light is not obstructed by other objects, in a shadowy area away from other bright light sources.. We appreciate you reaching out, and would like to talk with you in more detail to further help. Please give us a call Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00am to 6:00pm EST, at 1-866-215-1297 for additional assistance.

We're sorry that it has been 5 days with no insects caught, Idk. The Zevo Flying Insect Trap was designed to attract and trap a variety of flying insects, particularly those attracted to our dual spectrum of blue & UV light. Controlled laboratory testing supports the claim that the Zevo Trap is effective against gnats, house flies, and fruit flies. If the trap is placed in an outlet for about 1 week but doesn't seem to be catching bugs, we recommend moving it to another location. Another tip is to avoid plugging the trap where furniture, doors, curtains, or corners may obstruct the insect from finding its way to the trap. We want you to see results, and would like to talk with you in more detail to further assist you. Please give us a call Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00am to 6:00pm EST, at 1-866-215-1297.
