I, like many people have a problem falling asleep. I lay down and my mind keeps going. I have used this product for only 5 days and I have fallen asleep within 15 minutes. I find the sound is distracting to my mind and calms me enough to fall fast asleep. I have even noticed that I sleep more soundly and wake up more refreshed. I originally bought the sound machine to drown out night noises, it has done that and so much more. I especially like all the choices of different sounds, and a feature where you can run it all night or it can turn off automatically. I had read numerous reviews of this product before purchasing at local Target store, so I was aware of the heat issue, but ultimately decided that for the price, it would service my needs just fine. I have found after several uses, that it works best if I add very hot water initially as it cools down very quickly in plastic. It does provide a nice bubbling foot bath and allows me to immediately trim toenails and callouses with ease after use. This foot spa will never replace a professional pedicure, but honestly, for the price, it's an excellent alternative if you're looking to do your own personal grooming at home. see less

In a house with 3 women, hair dryers do not last long. I bought this hairdryer after a piece of soldering fell out of our old one and stopped working after only 2 months, while my sister and mother decided they liked a different model better. It is hands-down the best blow dryer I have ever bought.I use all-natural shampoo and styling products and blow drying used to leave a heaviness in the hair on the back of my head, and my hair had no volume. With this hair dryer, my hair is light and full of volume. I received many compliments on my "new haircut" and how "great the hairdresser did on my layering" when the only change I made was using this blow dryer. My sister began using this one instead of the one she chose so "we don't have to keep unplugging hairdryers", but really I can tell she loves the way this treats her dyed hair. It is smoother than ever and brings out the best of her haircut as well. The dryer itself is light, super quiet, and the middle heat setting is the perfect temperature for my liking, and the hottest still isn't too hot. With previous dryers I was unable to blow dry everyday because of the damage it would do to my hair. This blow dryer seems very gentle, and everyday my hair is shiny, smooth, and perfectly volumed. The back has a mesh screen to keep hair from being sucked inside, an issue I've had in the past. It comes with two attachments, both of which snap on securely and easily.I hope this blow dryer ends up having great longevity as well, because it is fantastic and I would be sad to see such a great beauty tool quit on me! So far it has outlasted the previous one and I see no signs of it breaking down anytime soon. see less

i've had this dryer for 4 years and i haven't had any problems with it. its so affordable and does the job well. its midsize which is great for traveling. I love the fact that it has 3 different temperature level. low, high, and cool. this dryer can get very hot if its on high, but it does get the job done faster. i love the cool setting especially for hot days when you're out the shower and need to go somewhere, but don't want to blow dry with heat, you can just use the cool button. i would def buy this item again. see less

I bought this dryer because I was looking for a replacement dryer with a comb attachment, that actually went with the dryer. I had no problem buying a more expensive dryer, but they are hard to find with comb attachments. I had a Conair one before this one and liked it, but it was heavy and snagged my hair. this one was much better, and dried my hair really fast. I am African American, with natural hair, and this was perfect. It was light weight, and the comb did not come off once. Very happy with the all the attachments and the quality of the dryer itself. Before the styler, I would always have to go over my hair with a flat iron to smooth it out and give it shine. After I towel dry my hair, I use a bit of volume serum at the root and Moroccan oil at the end. I first start off with the 2 comb attachment which glides through my hair easily and doesn't pull. Right when my hair is almost dry, I attach the bristle attachment to smooth out my hair and give it some volume and bounce. If I skip this step, my hair doesn't have to same smooth shiny finish. The heat on it is great and I finish drying and styling my hair in less then 15 mins. I have medium to fine hair that reaches to the medium of my back so that is really fast for my hair. My hair is also chemically processed yet it leaves my hair looking healthy. I highly recommend this product. see less

I've already used this dolly to haul my stuff around a convention and it was such a great help, I don't how I ever lived without it! It was super-sturdy, and using the included bungee cord, I was able to secure a tall stack of containers with no problems. I even lent it to a few friends while I was there so they could haul their stuff down to their car, too! It was nice and lightweight for storing once I was finished hauling everything. The one thing I might change on it is a lock that keeps the handle down so that I could carry the folded up dolly by the handle without it extending on me. I do love that there is a lock to keep the handle up, so the designers at least thought of that. I would still buy another one without changing a thing. My hair wasnt very frizzy at all and was pretty straight! Its easy to use, though I will say on occasion I have turned the Ion part on and off along with the power since all those are push buttons and right on the handle. but in general its not really that much of a bother to me. see less

I bought this hairdryer to get the benefit of the ionic hairdryer (less damaging, faster dry time, etc). The problems I had with the hairdryer were 1) The silly placement of the on/off button (it's right where you have your hand, so you're constantly turning it off), and 2) The high amount of electricity it uses. It kept on tripping circuits both at my house and at other family members' homes over the holidays. I tried to find another ion hairdryer that used less power and was surprised to find out that the standard for hairdryers now is 1875 watts. That's the equivalent of over 30, 60-watt lightbulbs! I did manage to find the IGIA ion hairdryer that uses only 1200 watts. I don't like it as much as the Conair, but at least I'm not running downstairs all the time to switch the circuit breaker! see less

Overall this is a good hair dryer. My hair is extremely straight and thick, and it left my hair shiny and full of volume. It seems like it did shorten the amount time it takes to dry my hair, but not much. Like the other reviewer, the only complaint I have to make are the switches. They are located right by where you place your hand. I must have at least hit the switches three times while I was drying my hair. (very irritating) I wish whoever designed this had made the switches slide instead of flipping up and down. I am definitely considering returning this item and buying the Revlon Ion Pro Stylist RV484 instead. Hope this review helps. see less

I just started weight watchers recently and wanted/needed my own reliable scale to use for my weekly tracking. I liked the fact that this one had some extra bells and whistles that I need to see each week to remind myself why I am trying to loose weight like BMI. And I am not sure why there are so many complaints about it not working after a week or a few months. I went to our local Target store looking for a better scale than what I had at home (which would be almost anything) but didn't want to spend too much money. I just started Weight Watchers Online and wanted to be more accurate. I was pleasantly surprised at the price and that it was Weight Watchers brand! I am so impressed with the sturdiness of it, the consistency, the accuracy. It was a perfect purchase for me. Very easy to set up if you want to have all the body analysis data, but if someone else in the family wants to just hop on and get their weight, that is simple as can be, too. Batteries are included, which is very convenient. The only complaint I have, and this is not really a complaint, is that the backlighting is blue, and with my "old" eyes, it is kind of hard to see from 5-1/2 feet up. But, that is probably just me. Fortunately, it scrolls through all the numbers twice, so if I don't see everything I want to see the first time, I hop off and bend down and can read them the second time through. I can easily see the weight, which comes up by itself right away. It's just the smaller numbers that are hard to read, but really not a big problem. I would definitely suggest this product. see less

Usually, when I curl my straight hair it'll hold for maybe 1 min then falls out not really even enough time to grab the can of hairspray, and my arms get tired from holding the full size iron in all sorts of positions for long periods of time. However, when I tried this I was shocked by the speed, tightness, and hold of the curl. Needless to say I'm not looking for my full sized straightener anymore. I just bought this hairdryer to replace the last one I had. My old one was a professional salon twin turbo. I was looking for a cheap replacement until I could order a new twin turbo which sells for $100. Surprisingly, I don't need to order it anymore. I am extremely happy with this hairdryer. My daughter, for her 7th birthday, wanted the Conair that put painted highlights in her hair. I did not want to go that route, so I bought her the Quick Gem Hair Jeweler. She did not understand it when she opened her present, but once I put the gems in - she loved it. She loved the way her hair looked, and so did I! All you have to do is take a small strand of hair (dry with no product in it) and push the button. It will lock the gem into place. I don't know what problem the first reviewer was having, but my daughter's gems stayed in her hair all day and never moved. You can also go to Conair and buy replacement gems if you should lose them. I have fine limp hair, and I have tried almost everything to get more body into my hair. I've used all sorts of hot rollers, but always thought that the rollers give too much curl and make my hair seem flat on the top and curly on the bottom. These rollers are very different. These rollers give lift and body and will flip the hair under, rather than provide a tighter curl. If your hairdresser uses a rolling brush when blowdrying your hair to give you body, bounce and curl, then these rollers are the best way to duplicate your hairdresser's work. Because of these rollers, I am able to blowdry my hair without a brush, then place the rollers in my hair when I put on make-up. 5 minutes later, my hair looks just like I stepped out of the salon. I have finally found a set of rollers that make my hair look the exact way I want it to look - sleek, polished, with a slight flip underneath as if I dried my hair with a rolling brush. If you are wanting a very large barrel curl, these are excellent. If you want a tighter curl, these are not the right rollers for you. see less

I love these curlers. I use them to straighten my hair which is thick, curly/wavy, shoulder-length and layered instead of blow drying straight. They work very well and take about ten minutes in the morning on dry hair. I leave them in only about five minutes at most. Great tool for the price! see less

These hot rollers are great for my hair. I have extremely thick, coarse hair so these actually work to give me large curly waves in my hair without taking 2 hrs to get the wavy look. The pins are not hard to use once you learn how they work. I actually do a lot of stuff around the house while I wait for them to work their magic before I go to work and they don't fall off my head! It is a little frustrating that there isn't a place to hold them with the machine, but I just put the pins in a cute little cosmetic case for when I travel and store the rollers. For what they do and for the price, I am very satisfied with this product. I will have large waves on the 1st day that I curl my hair and loose waves on the second day. see less

Over all this is a great product. I have had no issues with my skin getting irritated after using this, which is something I was worried about. I have only used it for my bikini area because it seems like it would take a long long time to do my legs. I especially like the comb piece that clips onto the trimmer. There are a few things I am not completely satisfied with. First, when I bought this I thought I could use it in the shower, but upon reading the directions I noticed it says not to use it in the shower. This makes the product far less convenient for me to use. Second, I have had trouble getting a close shave with it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong since I haven't used anything like this before, but the directions really aren't very helpful if you don't know how to use a shaver. I'm doing a trial and error thing right now. So far this is a great deal for the money. see less

This is a great curling iron. First, the size of the barrel is perfect for creating wavy curls. Second, the satin finish on the barrel prevents tugging or pulling on individula strands. I had the regular silver color version of this curling iron which was a little cheaper but noticed that my hair was getting really fried at the ends. This one keeps my hair shiny and does not fry the ends. I am very happy with this purchase. see less

My hair slips right through the clamp. I've never had this problem before. It takes me much much longer to do my hair with this curling iron than it ever did before since it won't hold. I bought this back in September 2011 and it worked fine until earlier today. Now when i step on it it dose't register that i have gotten on and continues to say 0.0lbs now i know i do not weight anything near 0 and nor do i want to! I've replaced the batteries and let it sit for awhile, even tried to see if it would work for my 3year old. Still nothing. Hoping letting it sit over night will help, but either way i need to buy another one. Hoping the a new one, I'm not getting this model again, is accurate and gives me the same numbers this one has because i want to know how close i am to my goal ,1/3rd there so far as told by this scale!, If you want something that will last you should look at spending a few more dollars and buy a higher quality scale. see less

I bought this hair dryer last week after mine bit the dust. I loved the purple color and the dryer felt nice and durable, not like cheap, light plastic. After I got it home and used it the back of the blower sucked my hair into it and either pulled my hair out or sucked so many stands that I had to turn the blower off and yank it out completely damaging that hair. The motor is so powerful on the high setting that it blew my hair around, tangling it and making it very hard to style my hair. The dryer is heavy, which doesn't bother me too much and the high heat setting doesn't get as hot as my old dryer. I really wanted to love it, and I kept it 4 days hoping it would get better but this morning when I had to rip a decent size clump of hair out of the back of the suction end I knew it had to go back. see less

After years of using Remington flat irons, I purchased the Conair because I have been so pleased with their hairdryer. I don't have high expectations for my flat irons - I use them mainly to style my already straight, fine hair. This is probably the worst flat iron I've used in the past 10 years. The flat iron loses heat after each use. I haven't seen a hair appliance that takes this long to recover in years. I swipe the flat iron through my straight, fine! hair, and after 1 pass, the heating light is blinking again. Sit it back down. Wait. Repeat. Conair, AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT. The power button is also badly placed. In between passes at my hair, since the flat iron had to recover each time, I put it back on the counter. At least 5 times, I hit the power button while putting it down or picking it up, a needless inconvenience and a waste of time. I should not be turning the iron on and off multiple times by accident. see less
