This is a total scam. Received a very used coffee machine in extremely poor packaging and the water tank was shattered. It wasn’t shattered in the box because there were no broken pieces in the box so this company sent it like that. What a complete waste of time. Just go find one on marketplace.

Received this refurbished unit from seller beach camera. as soon as I opened the box coffee maker was falling apart. I am aware it is refurbished but the conditon of the unit I receive was straight up donation grade appliance. Save yourself fro. the headache of purchasing this from this vendor. Will not buy from them again.

Frustrating and Now UnusableMy son bought me the La Specialista Espresso Machine about 11 months ago, and at first, I was thrilled—it made a lovely espresso. However, things quickly went downhill. Within a month, the machine prompted me to descale. I followed the instructions, but it took me four attempts to finally turn off the warning sensor. Since then, it’s been a constant battle with descaling alerts. The most frustrating part is that the descaling seems never-ending. At one point, I wanted to return the machine, but we couldn’t find the receipt, so I was stuck with it. Hoping to fix the issue, I purchased a video from the Coffee Grump, which was somewhat helpful. Unfortunately, I discovered the video was for an older model, and some hose connections and parts have changed, adding to my frustration. To make matters worse, in the last month, the machine has started leaking heavily, making it impossible to use without soaking the counter. It’s now completely unusable, and I regret not being able to return it earlier. While the espresso quality was nice initially, the ongoing maintenance issues and now the leakage have been a massive disappointment. If you’re considering this machine, be prepared for endless headaches—or better yet, avoid it altogether.

5 years and still makes perfect espresso
5 years and still works perfectly. It took a few try’s to dial it in but once you become familiar with how to do that, you get a perfect cup every time. Excellent crema, perfect foamed milk. It is very sturdy and quality is perfect for an at home machine. Only complaint is that the bean hopper makes the machine tall. It may not fit under your kitchen cabinet. My suggestion to DeLonghi is to make the hopper shorter or figure out how to put it on its side. A side water tank would be nice too. The tank in the back can be a hassle to refill when you have to pull the whole machine out away from the wall.

Upgrade that is worth it
We have had our other DeLonghi for 10 years. It’s still working but the wanted to upgrade and got another DeLonghi for support for the last great machine. Very happy with the quality add the coffee!

Piece of you know what - unusable after 2yrs
If you’re looking for a machine that makes you a great espresso - this isn’t it. If you want a beautiful, sleek, expensive counter ornament… you’ve found your product. First I thought I’d lost it after my initial descaling attempt. Then it was intermittently functional and nonfunctional for different reasons. After about 1.5 years of use, the steaming wand no longer emitted any steam. Exactly 2 days after my warranty expired, it stopped producing any espresso and the dosing dial broke off. I’ve had nothing but issues and deeply, deeply regret “upgrading” from my trusty Breville Barista, which worked like a champ and never gave me issues.

Best performing dual heating system
1 month into my purchase of Maestro dual heating system. I love it. My family can make coffee drinks as good as any cafe. With little or no effort the drinks are ridiculously great. Once you find the right espresso bean and grind settings it’s magical.

Great machine
The machine is great so far. We’ve had it a couple of weeks and it working great. It arrived as promised and was easy to set up. It replaced a Delonghi machine that was over 20 years old and had made well over 5000 cups of coffee so I’m hopeful the new one is as good as the old one.

Great DeLonghi espresso machine
We had a Breville barista, which worked great & lasted 12 years. Instead of getting it repaired we decided to go ahead and get this machine instead. It had all the bells & whistles we were looking for & a slight upgrade from the Breville we had especially with the tamper built in! The coffee comes out amazing! The taste is perfect. So far so good! Would recommend this machine to anyone looking for an espresso maker!

Poor quality grinder
If you’re thinking of buying this machine, think again and spare yourself the headache. The grinder will break within 2 years and their customer service won’t even offer to fix it for free. All they give you is a 20% off coupon to buy a new machine, what a joke. Save the money and buy a more reliable espresso machine.

Problems problems problems
I got this machine as a gift 2 years ago and I have had nothing but problems. The first year I shipped it back to them and they fixed it but this year within a few months of using it the grinder and the frother stopped working properly. When I spoke to support they sent me an email saying the warranty was only for 2 years and there was nothing they could do. This machine was a lemon since the beginning. It’s waaaaay too expensive to tell me I can get 20% off a new one or I can pay to get it fixed. I didn’t even have one good year with it. I would like to throw it out the window. Don’t buy Delonghi!
