Melting top rim
I am sooooooo disappointed with this product. The rim has melted. Each time I use it, it melts more at the top of this rim. I’m going to throw it out even tho it is compact.

Works good but why doesn’t the temperature indicator light show the temperature? Plug it in and it’s always lighted?

The light you describe is a power indicator. It will glow when the fryer is plugged in.

WAY BETTER THAN AN AIR FRYER
My husband LOVES IT!!! His parents got him an air fryer a year ago and because they know he likes fried stuff but he’s never really enjoyed it and it had a horrible burning plastic smell… we moved and I finally got him a deep fryer. I wish this particular one was sold in stores but the dumb air fryers are there ugh!!! This is such a cute little deep fryer and it makes way better food than any air fryer could and it’s reliable and I’m in love. My husband loves it so much. I really don’t know how we made it this far without it. Anyways my only thing about it is there’s no place to hang the basket to let the oil drip but to be honest it probably doesn’t have it because the serving sizes are like for one person which is perfect for us so he just holds it to let it drip and then dumps the food on his plate so no worries there.

Appliance should last more then a year
this deep fryer after only 15 months wont even turn on we purchased March 2022 and as of June 2023 cant get it to work too late to return or get credit dont buy it

Much too small it only holds a hand full like making one hush puppy at a time or four tator tots at a time it’s just plain too small and it’s missing the hanger hook to let hot grease drip down so I sent it back . If you put five French fries in the palm of your hand that’s all this holds but other wise it’s five stars great quality it’s missing the drip hanger and I need that but too small for me I eat alot this would take a lot of runs at a time

poorly made
I purchased this item a couple of years ago to replace a very old Fry Daddy. I was the perfect size for single fried servings, although frying chicken was a challenge. Recently I added additional oil to the max fill line and when I added potatoes it of course boiled over, totally my fault. However, when I was cleaning up the mess I made, the front controls fell off and broke to pieces, it was not repairable. I don't believe the oil should have been able to get into the controls to cause so much damage.
