Ineffective now
This product used to be very effective and even better than brand name Vicks, but the formula has been changed and now it doesn’t work at all. It smells awful, like mulch, and it’s watered down and no longer thick. The old formula worked, this is ineffective.

Def changed ingredients, it stinks!
I used to buy this in place of Vicks and bought a new jar last week and opened it and it smells NOTHING like the old bottle. It smells so gross, there’s no menthol or eucalyptus scent at all, it stinks!!!!

All thumbs down! No good! Just spend more money and buy Vick's vaporub instead
I applied this vaporub to my chest and it was burning! So uncomfortable while having cough, headache, nasal congestion, and lack of sleep due to discomfort from being sick! If I could leave a review with no stars, I would! Not enough thumbs to hold down to express my displeasure of this product! I shouldn’t have wasted my time or money on this product that did not help me!

I mean… it’s not the brand name so it’s gonna be a bit off in the smell I guess. Did it make me warm and tingly, yes! Does it smell EXACTLY like the name brand? No. Did it do what I needed it to, which was soothe me? Yes. I gave it four stars because the smell is just a bit off. Not quite the brand name but I can’t place the smell either. All in all, not bad. I also love the tiny bottle option!

Stinks!
I have purchased this product multiple times in the past and it smelled just like Vicks VapoRub. However, the product I received recently stinks!! It does not smell like menthol but like cat urine. It is absolutely disgusting and I will not be buying this again!! It is going into the trash. I will pay for the more expensive brand name item to avoid the foul smelling odor of this product.

this is the only time I would suggest someone buy name brand instead. This doesn’t smell like vicks at all, it smells awful! I wouldn’t put this on any part of my body .. it belongs right in the trash.

Awful smell. Nothing like what is expected
This product smells absolutely terrible. I was expecting it to smell like Vicks, as I’ve purchased store-brands of it elsewhere and it’s always been the same smell. This has a very off-putting smell and it almost smells rancid. I will likely be returning this product.
