I used the the brow glue beforehand and the eyebrow pencil almost didn’t show up unless I pressed a lot which would result in harsh lines that don’t look like eyebrow hairs.

Have been using Cool Ash Brown for years, was a great product that I buy in bulk. HOWEVER, now it is basically red brown. Completely unacceptable. I bought 6 so now am fighting to return as I can't use them because if I wanted a red tone I would have ordered red! Livid.

Idk how anyone likes this pencil, or how it has such good reviews. The formula is way too hard. Just trying to swatch it on my hand, there was no color payoff to speak of, pressing so hard that it hurt and made my hand red with no color (brunette shade). What would that feel like on my face!? Such a disappointment; I should have swatched it in the store. I expected better from NYX - I do love other products from this brand!

I gave two stars only because I still think this is a good product. I’m just so disappointed in the color change. I used to buy the precision brow pencil in PBP01 Blonde and it matched my brows perfectly. I have used it for years. They no longer make it so I tried this brow pencil, but their blonde is way too yellow and light and so I tried the ash brown and it is too dark. I’m so disappointed. I’m going to have to move onto a new brand. I’ve tried researching which color would be best alternate to the PBP01 blonde and can’t find anything.

Not sure what happened to the formula but the “cool ash brown” color is anything BUT cool. It used to be the perfect shade but sadly now it pulls so much red.
