The Micom Rice Cooker & Warmer from Zojirushi features an expanded menu with steel cut oatmeal and GABA brown rice settings for more healthy options. With its compact size and ability to cook as little as 1/2 a cup of rice or oats, this rice cooker is ideal for small families or couples. The micro computer automatically adjusts cooking temperature and time. Detachable and washable inner lid. The high-contrast water level lines offer improved visibility and the built-in retractable power cord makes moving and storing hassle-free. Perfect rice
I had dinner at a friend's home and she and her husband were raving about the way the Micom Rice cooker prepared the perfect rice every time. After seeing that it did as promised I immediately ordered one for my 30-yr old son who eats rice 3-4 times a week. He absolutely loves it. I'm going to buy one for myself in about a month.

A Must Have!!!!
This model is one of the most popular & best from brand. I would highly recommend as it is comparable to Cuckoo brand. I have both brands and they are both great quality and have held up over 10 years. Keeps rice fresh.

Excellent Product
While I was surprised out the length of time it took to cook a cup of rice, there is no denying cooker produces a perfectly cooked grain. I've cooked brown rice, jasmine rice, barley and steel-cut oats. All perfect. Love this thing.

Take a risk
Great while it worked. I had this rice for about 1 year and 3 months. In all that time, it made perfectly cooked rice. Out of the blue, the unit stopped turning on. Tried different plugs in the kitchen with no luck. Contacted manufacturer and since it’s been over a year, repairs are not free, in addition to paying for shipping to their service center. I bought this based on reviews and I’m disappointed.

The famous YouTuber Mr. Roger (Nigel) said to buy this years ago because I love rice lol. The best investment I got. I cook a bunch of stuff in it other than rice. Note: If you want to make brown Jasmine rice. It’s 3/4 cup of rice for every 10 ounces (U.S. measurement system).

I really want to love it but gosh darn it, I hate how long it takes to get rice ready. I usually cook 2 cups of brown rice and it takes 98 minutes to cook!! And don't be deceived by how bulky it looks. Just because it looks bulky does not mean you can cook more rice. I can only cook a max of 2 cups of brown rice in this one. And this rice cooker is small but bulky. I like the reheating option though. I've left rice for like 2 days and was able to reheat rice in it and it'll taste fresh just like how I first made it.

Fluffy rice
Never had brown rice that was so fluffy! Albeit a 90 min cook time. I like that it is the perfect size for 1-2 people. The quick cycle worked perfectly fine with jasmine rice which was about a half hour. When using the normal setting it was double the time but turned out fluffier. Inner cooking pot is heavy and great quality. Rice cooker Looks nice on the counter and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Hopefully the digital clock doesn’t stop working, not sure if you can change a battery for it? The cook time countdown is helpful. The retractable cord is a nice touch. Worth the price, I got it on sale.

Disappointing Taste, Small Cooker
Disappointing taste, small in micom 3 cup rice cooker 38 warmer. Stick to white rice, not good brown mixed rice. Other functions work, but taste is bad. Stick to Zojirushi for better quality.
