Good quality, waterproof!

The smell alone is what made me dislike this product. Even after washing it, it has a strong chemical smell and because I washed the sheets I bought with it, all of my daughter's sheets now smell like chemicals as well.

More of a plastic feeling than I expected

Through potty training and throwup this protector has not failed me and I really wish they made this in king size. For safe measures I don't put it in the dryer and wash delicately.

Bad, very hot makes you sweat

These are not actually waterproof. We had both a potty and a throw up incident and it went right through to the mattress which stained.

I hope someone at a higher level will see this review. But I noticed when I wash the protector is gets very ITCHY out of the washer and especially the dryer. I am wondering if this item has fiberglass or another component that is unstable during wash. It would be very disappointing considering this is a child’s mattress protector. Not only is there a skin sensitivity risk, but possibly respiratory. And you can’t say not to wash the item, because children sometimes wet the bed.

Actually waterproof and not super loud. Great for potty training

I have these on all 3 of my kids bed. I love that they don't make noise like a lot of mattress covers. It also stays on well when i am changing sheets which i appreciate

These used to be the best mattress covers, why did yall change them!?! The new side material tears easily now that it is "silky" and it waterproof backing is loud now.

I dislike pretty much everything about these. They're not waterproof AT ALL, not in the slightest. I doubled up layers to make it easier to change for my potty training toddler and now I have the joy of washing literally two sets of sheets/mattress "protectors" AND figuring out how to clean a mattress or replace it. Massive bummer.

Not waterproof! We are potty training for toddler and when he peed the bed the pee went straight through to the mattress. Incredibly disappointed with this item. Do not purchase.

I love that this is such a great price for a worthwhile product! I was worried it would be too big for my child’s mattress (she has an 8” instead of a 12”) but it still fits nice and snug. It is indeed waterproof! Has protected the mattress from leaking diapers, drink spills, and even vomit. Holds up well in the wash, I think we have already washed it 10 or so times at least, and it looks and feels brand new still. Be warned it does feel soaking wet coming out of the washer, but it always dries just fine. I already purchased a second one to use when the other is off/being washed. My ONLY critique is that it very much feels and sounds like a rubber sheet. It is one, but its covered in fabric at least to make it more comfortable. Its not horribly loud or uncomfortable, but you can tell, if that makes sense. Fine for a child’s bed. My child normally gets hot sleeping, and this does not seem to cause that or make it worse, its still breathable enough. I would (and have) buy again!

Horrific chemical smells, even after washing. Such a waste of money

The smell was atrocious! I tried to wash this at least 4 times, and the smell of chemicals would not go away. I will be getting a refund back..

Easy to wash, dries quickly and is definitely waterproof.

I was very shocked to find out from the packaging that this mattress protector has PVC backing. This is not listed in the description, and I'm very surprised that it can be considered OEKO tex certified when it uses PVC. I will be returning it.

Wish it wasn’t so noisy, but will work

Terrible chemical smell. Do not buy for your kids. I was shocked it had such a high rating, because it truly stinks. It literally smells unsafe!

Finally a truly waterproof mattress protector! And for a very low price. My son has peed, spilled, etc and this mattress protector has help up. Not even the slightest bit of wetness under the protector. I bought more after the first one held up.
