Q: My question and concern is about the ticking used. The product description states "300 thread count cotton sateen." In my experience, 300 thread count is pretty poor. So my question is, does this pillow leak feathers?

A: There are no "feathers" in a down pillow.

So this specific item has a 230 thread count cambric cotton inner fabric (actually the most don proof) as well as an outer 300 TC cotton sateen pillow protector. The key to being down proof for fabric is a tight plain weave combined with a down proof coating. We feel very confident this item will give you years of use with minimal down leakage. A: This down pillow has a minimum of 75% down clusters while the other 25% are either more down, small feathers or fibers (which are the broken off pieces of down clusters). We actually have a really good blog post on this topic. Thanks, DOWNLITE

The pillow your looking at is more for a stomach or back sleep position. Q: The description on my Downlite pillow, which I loved & now need to replace, is the same as this add; except for the type of down. This add says "Goose" down and I believe this company uses "Duck" down. Which 1 is it?

Delightful Down pillow

I bought just to try and I’m really enjoying it. I’m a side sleeper supposedly I should sleep on a firmer pillow however, I noticed I sleep so much better with soft, and this one is by far my favorite. Highly recommend it.

Not enough fluff
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the exact pillow that I have used my entire adult life. However this brand is as flat as my 2 pillows that are 10 years old. I tried fluffing in the dryer, but my head just sinks to the mattress like my 10 year old pillows. Needs about twice as much of the same exact comfortable filling to be functional.

Great pillow
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not a stomach sleeper, but this pillow is what I’ve been looking for. It’s super soft and doesn’t have a high loft. I prefer a flatter pillow, but still want soft and supportive. My only complaint is that it had a fairly strong smell when it arrived, so I let it air out for several days before using it. It’s fine now.
