When using this product: do not touch tip of container to any surface to avoid contamination,remove contact lenses before use,wait at least 10 minutes before reinserting contact lenses after use,do not wear a contact lens if your eye is red.

Stop use and ask a doctor if you experience:

Adults and Children 2 Years of Age and Older:

Put 1 drop in the affected eye(s) once daily. Do not use more than 1 drop in each eye per day. If using other ophthalmic products while using this product, wait at least 5 minutes between each product. Replace cap after each use.

Children Under 2 Years of Age:

Consult a doctor.

  • A: I don’t know. I had allergic reactions to preservatives in Systane and Visine Allergy eye drops. Ophthalmologist prescribed Pataday original strength, which works for me. Pataday Extra Strength also works for me.

  • A: No, Pataday® Once Daily Extra Strength Allergy eye drops are not known to raise pressure inside the eyes. Pataday Extra Strength contains olopatadine (0.7%), which is an antihistamine/mast cell stabilizer, not a steroid. Eye pressure increases (intraocular pressure) are typically associated with steroid eye drops, not antihistamine allergy drops like Pataday. If you have glaucoma, a history of elevated eye pressure, or have been advised to monitor your eye pressure closely, it’s always best to check with your eye care professional before starting any new eye drop—even over‑the‑counter products. Cant Afford!!

This used to be free for myself as an eye prescription until it got popular and guess the pharmacy etc can take more of our monies; won’t purchase until needed as an elderly! using regular affordable eye drops for all issues!

MD-docter-recommended!

My eye docter specialist in cornea care recommended this for eye allergies. They are super-expensive. I’ve used them before and I love that they as two smaller containers. Fits in purse (or pocket) easily. During allergy season or when visiting friends with cats or mold, these are a game-changer. I can visit for an afternoon rather than an hour. Note An N-95 mask along with the drops is the key. I might not be able to stay as long without the mask; I can’t comment on that. But for the eye allergies on my damaged corneas, this does the job.

Finally allergy eye relief!

This product is amazing. I have suffered for years from seasonal allergies in my eyes. They are typically constantly watering and I can never even go outside. My optometrist recommended Pataday and I couldn’t be happier. Within minutes of the first time I used them my eyes felt clearer and less itchy and irritated. It really does last a full day. Makes eye lids stick together and burns

Made my eyes burn a bit right away which was concerning, but the worst was when it made my eye lids stick together like glue or pink eye. What on earth?! Worst eye drops I have ever used,, and the most expensive. I thought for sure this must have been a bad batch but I see now that others have had the same experience.

10x more itchy

IMMEDIATELY made my eyes 10x more itchy upon application. I think it’s because the formula is particularly sticky and thick, making my eyelids stick together when I blink. Don’t waste $26 on this, buy the Target brand ketotifen fumarate for less than 1/3 the price. That one really works.

Immediately noticed a difference

Been using this for about a week now. Recommend not using while wearing contacts. I always use it at night before bed. Take my contacts out, one drop in each eye. It does give me blurred vision for a few seconds but then it’s fine. Immediately started noticing a difference.

Makes vision blurry

I was using the 0.2% drops and some days felt like they weren’t strong enough so I wanted to try these, but I was disappointed. I didn’t know that the viscosity would be different. These are similar to hydrating eye drops with kind of an oily texture or something. They are very thick and They make my vision blurry for a little while after use. And I didn’t feel like they helped my allergies that much more if at all. Will still with the 0.2% drops
