The coverage is very high, so just a dot is sufficient for my under eye area. You have to be careful not to use too much or it can definitely get cakey. This also mixes well with other liquid concealers if you want to make them higher coverage. I'm pale, about Mac NC15 and use 12N for my dark circles to brighten
