Waterproof Fitted Mattress Protector - Room Essentials™

Bought this about a year ago for my toddlers big kid bed. Alternate use with a different brand mattress protector, so it's not even used 100% of the time. An accident leaked through the pad today, which is disappointing.

It’s very light weight and easy to wash.

Not waterproof. Liquid goes right through onto the mattress.

This will protect the mattress from wettings but the material on the sides is delicate. You need to wash carefully each time and so I foresee potential tearing.

Pros: Affordability No plastic sound movement when on top of it Cons: Did not fit bed properly (was about an inch shorter than mattress, causing it to not be snug and also hard to get on) Did not prevent a leak… therefore it is useless I bought this for our daughter’s full sized mattress. She is potty training and we are moving away from diapers during nap time because she is dry 80-90% of the time. I made her bed with fresh sheets, then topped it with this mattress protector and another set of fresh sheets, hoping for a quick and easy solution if the top set of sheets got wet… peel off wet sheets and mattress protector, and voilà, a freshly made bed for the evening. My hopes were high, the mattress protector fell painfully short of meeting my expectations. We used a disposable pee pad (chux pad) for the nap which was under her on top of the sheets, and it caught most of her pee… no big deal, I was thinking, just pull off the tops sheets and this waterproof mattress protector and we’ll be good to go. NOPE. The pee went straight through the mattress protector onto not only the flat sheet, but through to the fitted sheet as well. If I didn’t have that bed made with the extra set of sheets under this protector, the mattress would have been soaked. This mattress protector, unfortunately, did not accomplish its stated goal of protecting the mattress. Don’t be drawn in by the price point of $10. It will not protect your mattress. I’m just glad I had the extra sheets underneath, otherwise my mattress would have been damaged.

I bought the queen size and it was easy to put on the mattress. So far I am fully satisfied with this product.

Pure plastic. Depressing. And they sent the wrong size to make it worse. Bought queen and got twin.

I love to put these on all my kids mattresses to cover for any accidents. I love that they are quiet, waterproof, and OEKO-TEX certified. I feel better with that certification knowing they won’t be exposed to more harmful chemicals while they sleep.

Not waterproof my 4 year old had an accident at night and it went all the way to the mattress

It does not stay in place, either under or over a sheet. Completely unusable.

This queen waterproof mattress protector is too small for a queen bed. I wasn’t able to get it to go over the 4th corner. I had bought this for my little girl’s bed.

Perfect for my daughter’s big girl bed! I was worried it would feel like laying on plastic and be loud but it’s not. Of course you can tell there’s a protector on but it’s not bad at all!

This is 100% waterproof!! I have these mattress protectors on all four of my kiddo’s beds. Lifesaver for sure!

Leaked after an overnight accident and ruined our son’s brand new mattress.

I was putting it on the bed and my fingers went right through the mesh. Useless before I even got it on. I went with a higher priced one and I'm happy with that.

I ordered a king size and it fits okay. My son has spilled drinks on my bed and it definitely does not go through the sheet into the bed itself. That’s pretty good enough for me
