  • A: You said that EU formulas often use palm oil but Aptamil and Kendamil which are both in Target are from Europe don't have palm oil or soy.

  • A: Hi Mallory! Soy oil is a source of fatty acids essential in infant nutrition. Unlike EU formulas, which often use palm oil, Bobbie includes organic soybean oil. Deciding between palm oil and soybean oil was tough, but we ultimately chose soybean oil as a more sustainable alternative to palm oil. Palm oil has also been linked to some digestive issues. Our USDA organic non-hydrogenated soybean oil is non-GMO and not grown with pesticides. Bobbie does not contain soy protein.

  • A: The cans we just received expire next year in Nov 2024. But it just depends which batch they pick your order from. Once opened, the can expires after 30 days, regardless of printed expiration date.

Q: Is there supposed to be a scoop in every can of formula? I just bought this for the first time to try it and mine didn't come with a scoop, I dumped it out twice into a bowl to try to find it.

Q: Why does the container look different from the 14 ounce compared to the 24 ounce container? Are they the same formula?  the 14 ounce cans says it uses whole milk so does the 24 ounce can use it as well?

    Horrible constipation

    I wanted to like this formula, I really did… it made my newborn so constipated, that his face was so red passing stool, it was horrible!! His stool was so hard and it looked painful, I felt so bad and horrible!! Then organic, or regular one doesn’t matter, they both cause AWFUL constipation. I’m not happy with this formula at all. I will be switching to happy baby.

    Bobbie gentle vs Bobbie Organic

    We just recently switched our bay (6months) from the Bobbie Gentle to this organic formula, figured since he’s been on solids for a few weeks that it would be okay to switch.     Some Cans Leave Grainy Residue

    Our 5 month old son loves this formula and it sits well with his tummy, we’ve been using it to combo feed and now transitioning solely to Bobbie. However, not all cans provide the same consistency of powder. With some cans, the formula blends smoothly into the water. And for some cans, it leaves a grainy residue all over the bottle. Our baby doesn’t seem to notice a difference but we are a bit worried about the quality control.

    Please improve the packaging

    I mostly breastfeed but got this to try out after the Byheart recall. While my LO's tummy seemed to tolerate well I do take issue with the can design esp at this price point. Having to dig for a scoop that is longer than the width of the can requiring a little effort to make it fit it isnt ideal. It may seem trivial to some but the quality of free sample formula cans are better. If you're going to price and market it as a superior product why not add a little effort into your packaging as well.
