As every baby is different and we suggest following your baby’s feeding cues, this will really depend on the feeding demands of your little one. As an example though, at a rate of 3 to 4 4oz bottles a day a can should last 11 days.

They advise that you should prepare each bottle with freshly boiled water, following the directions on the can, right before feeding. Once your little one has fed from a bottle any remaining formula needs to be discarded if not consumed within 1 hour. However, in any instance where this is not possible, where you need to transport a feed (for example, to a nursery), prepare the feed at home, cool under a running tap or in a bowl of cold water, and cool it for at least 1 hour in the back of the fridge. Take it out of the fridge just before you leave and carry it in a cool bag with an ice pack, and use it within 4 hours. If you do not have an ice pack, or access to a fridge, the made-up infant formula must be used within 2 hours. If you are preparing your bottles in advance for storage at home the NHS advise the following: - in a fridge – use within 24 hours. - in a cool bag with an ice pack – use within 4 hours. - at room temperature – use within 2 hours.

This means we have naturally present MFGM in our recipes which do not contain palm oil, soy, or other cheap additives. Enfamil Gentlease is partially hydrolyzed and has reduced lactose content. If your infant has a lactose intolerance, as diagnosed by a medical professional, then we would recommend you seek their advise before changing or transitioning to another milk.
