A: The pizza pan is designed for oven use or outdoor on a grill. Not recommended on the stove top.

Q: Do you wash before use since it’s already seasoned? And do you wash after every use? Can you also bake other things on her besides pizza?

A: Yes, Since the pan is new, I would wash with hot water, clean with a nylon bristle brush or non-scratch pad, rinse, hand-dry immediately, and rub the surface with cooking oil. Always cook with oil and after each cleaning process wipe down the cookware with oil before storing away. You can cook other foods other than pizza, like roasted vegetables.

A: The Pizza Pan is too large to be used on the stovetop on a burner. If used on the stovetop, it can cause it to warp and crack and will void the warranty. It is designed to be used in the oven or outdoors on a grill.

Rusts even when dried thoroughly after use
Started rusting after two uses. Hand washed and thoroughly dried both times. Very difficult to clean baked on cheese off of even with lodges special tool sold separately. Huge waste of money.

Great Pizza Crust
This pan bakes a great crust for homemade pizza. The recipe I've been using calls for a 550 degree oven but I need to experiment on adjusting that temp down and/or using a higher rack location because the pan holds a lot of heat. I highly recommend this pan!

Lodge's cast iron pizza pan is a great value. Made in America, it's durable and non-stick. The hndle is easy to use. Good for small meals, but larger option would be even better. Great for the price.

Great home pizza
This works great for making homemade pizza. Give yourself enough time becuase preheating the pan is a must. The only part I still need to figure out better is how to prep the pizza and then transfer it to this hot pan (probably need to try a wooden pizza peel). We love making pizzas together as a family and this is helping us cook our pizzas better. Clean this just like any other cast iron cookware- don't "wash" it!!
