OPI Nail Envy Advanced Strength Nail Strengthener - 0.5 fl oz

I thought I would try this product. Bit was terrible. Nail Envy ruined my nails. They have chipped and split. I figured OPI a well known brand has to be good. Please save your money. Very disappointed.

This product is fabulous & my nails were awful before been using for a few weeks & my nails are so much better & stronger going to continue & highly recommend

After a trip to a salon to get gel nails for my holiday my nails started peeling, so I bought this stuff hoping it would be a miracle cure. Sadly, after trying it for a few weeks, I didn't notice any improvement at all.

To say this works is an understatement!!! I’ve never in my life been able to grow my nails past mt finger tips. I have fine brittle nails and they’re now past my finger tips!! So happy

I really did not want to like this because who spends $20 on a bottle of nail polish?!? But I am forced to admit that it's actually really good. Most "nail strengtheners" are just extra-hard polish that make your nails feel stronger while they're on but don't actually do anything. I don't know what it is but this stuff actually makes my nails stronger. The one thing I don't like is that as the layers build up it eventually gets thick enough to peel off, and that damages the very top surface. But I'm getting more disciplined about taking it off with nail polish remover once it gets to that point. Applying a new coat every day, you do go through it really quickly but I don't actually care because who really uses up a whole bottle of regular nail polish before it dries out, anyway? It's really helping me quit biting my nails, not least because they've gotten strong and hard enough that biting them really hurts my teeth.

I have used original Opi Nail Envy Strengthener for over a decade. I usually buy two at a time which lasts me pretty good while. I ordered 2 back in January. I finished my old bottle and opened the new bottle, first thing i noticed was strong chemical smell but i did try it, the base didn’t look unusual but when i applied the nail polish, it had bubbles and no matter how many coats you applied it wouldn’t smooth it out and the nail polish is also OPI brand. Not sure what is in new formula but it is not working. Please bring back the original formula. The protection is not there. I have explored other options until this issue is fixed.

Did the opposite of what it says - made my nails drier and weaker than before. Colour applied streaky (bubble bath) and didn't last, despite the repeated applications. Overall very disappointing, especially given the high price.

Yes, it's a bit less effective than the OG formula, but y'all, the OG formula had *formaldehyde* in it - you know, the neurotoxin that can permanently alter the nervous system and is linked to cancer of the nasal cavity and myeloid leukemia. As Meatloaf iconically said, "I'll do anything (to make my nails look nice), but I won't do that."

I had a split down my nail so I got this to avoid further damage/it getting caught on anything (the split was far down my nail) it's good but been having to reapply daily as comes off too easily from hand washing, washing up, bathing etc. Hoping it improves my nails overtime . Unsure if would buy again or not

Love this product! My nails really weak and break very easily and this product really helps. Am trying other OPI products along side this to make sure I am giving my nails the best treatment possible.. Would highly recommend

Have been using OPI nail envy for years and my nails were immaculate. This new formula has destroyed them in a few weeks. Peeling, ripping, and I can't gro them past my finger tips. I know they have tried to make the ingredients "safer" but they have ruined an amazing product. Consumers know the risks, so why remove this product completely. Offer the original alongside the updated formula. Let your consumer choose.... Now I am on the hunt for another nail strengthener. It's really disappointing OPI.

I have used Nail Envy for years. Unfortunately, the new formula is not working for me. I will be looking at other options for a nail strengthener.

Like so many others have said, I am extremely disappointed with this product. The Original version was amazing -- it worked! This one does not and is not worth the money. Adding my vote to this hoping you'll bring back the original formula. You ruined a great thing.

I've been using this product for ten+ years. I used to love it. I had healthy strong nails for the first time after "salon" acrylic nails. Then in the last few years something has changed for the worse. It no longer protects, now it splits, lifts and generally does the opposite of what it once did. I am s terribly disappointed.

Hi I just wanted to say like so many others how disappointing the new formula is, my nails keep breaking and splitting, they used to be so strong with the old formula it’s quite an expensive waste of money in comparison to other products. Such a shame you have changed something that didn’t need changing it’s just damaging my nails.

Totally destroyed my nails after two weeks of use. Three nails broke below nail line and two nails appear to be lifting from nail bed. I am 56 and at this moment my nails are the worse they have ever been, to the point that I am ashamed.

The original formula was great and helped my nails. This new Tri-Plex formula actually worsens my nails and causes them to peel. Frustrated since I thought I had found a product that worked and then they changed it. Moving on to something new.

My nails are a bit hit and miss with their condition, and when they start cracking and chipping, I turn to this for repair. I don't believe in using it all the time as I haven't found it necessary when my nails are in good condition. I don't wear nail varnish every day, so my nails can breathe, which I think keeps them healthier most of the time.
