Q: The highlights say this product captures mold spores, but in the specifications, mold spores aren't listed in the "Allergens Captured" section. Does it or does it not?

  • A: Hello Evan, the unit will capture 99.97% of pollutants as small as 0.3 microns. Mold spores can also be cause by humidity, in which the air purifier may not always remove and you may need a dehumdifier.

Perfect for our nursery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving this for our twins’ nursery! It is small enough to fit in a tight space but really powerful. I especially appreciate the sleep mode which makes it super quiet for bedtime! The air quality of the space my babies sleep in is super important to me so I’m glad I gave the A231 a try!

Perfect one for my bedroom!!

This Air Purifier is perfect for my bedroom and I love it!! My cat sleeps on the foot of my bed so this is just perfect at keeping the room perfectly clean 24/7, I leave it on "night mode" and it is very quiet. I highly recommend!

Improved our life

I have used continuously for well over a year in our bedroom. On med/high throughout the day and on sleep mode at night. WE both sleep better and no allergies any more!

Good BUT…

Been using this for a month now, works great and happy with it over all. I sleep with it set high as we like to sleep to a fan, and it sounds exactly like that, perfect white noise. The only thing is that is driving us CRAZY, is there is no way to turn off the light!! We have this blue light illuminating our room. We even tried to black sharpie it but didn’t work. Maybe there is a way… but we can’t figure it out. Night mode turns off the light but the setting remains at its lowest and is way too quiet.

Exactly what I wanted!

The size is perfect and has just the right amount of noise to be not too loud, but still provide some background white noise. It’s completely silent and dark when it’s in night mode, which is a great option too!! I wish it connect to my app, like my other Winix does, that the only complaint I have.

Wow BUY IT!!!

This purifier is Amazing!!! It really lets you know if your air isn’t purified by the light indicator changing colors and the speed of the fan increasing. So I decided to test the device out by spraying aerosol in the air about 10 seconds after the light indicator turned red and the fan went into full speed. After that I sprayed a room spray that says it’s natural in the air the color remain blue and the fan speed remain the same, very slight this is an indicator that the air was purified in the errors spray is natural. This will be the only purifier I probably will ever get because you can see the actual results. I do recommend this product. Oh did I mention Maintenance is very simple

Recommended!!

Had this model about two years now.....does a great job purifying the air....I'm a fan of white noise so the motor at high speed is comforting to sleep to....gave it only 4 stars because I believe the bottom cover could screw on more secure...it is not a tight fit and if you happen to move the air purifier, it has a tendency to come off

Incredible

I went with this brand because my patient uses it in their house and I've seen it working hard when I open up chemicals nearby. Also, not to be funny or making any jokes, I would like to mention that this air purifier also works well because when my boyfriend farts the color of the light turns red and senses it which makes it work hard to clear out the air.
