I love the Nanit for easy monitoring of my baby. I think it can be a little glitchy at times. I will take baby out after a nap and return him a few hours and the monitor thinks he’s been in their napping the whole time, things like that. The camera also clocks all the time which can be distracting and annoying at times.

We love the Smart Baby Monitor! It’s nice to have something that sits on the counter so we can monitor both kids on one device. I prefer the smart monitor over using the app on my phone. This has been a great addition to our Nanit products!

I have emailed support twice
I have emailed support twice because my nanit insight continues to malfunction. There are days it doesn't display a sleep score or will not tell me how long my baby has been asleep. I have tried all the troubleshooting options and it still doesn't get fixed. It is frustrating. If I pickup my daughter at night because she started crying for 2 minutes, it will now give her a new bedtime. I am paying for a product that doesn't work.

Overall good
Overall happy with this monitor system. I’m a little surprised with the camera quality, I thought it would be a little clearer with how expensive it was. Also there is a major delay in the history. For example if I’m away and my husband is watching him, I’ll check the app to see when he fell asleep vs woke up and sometimes it takes 30-45 mins for it to have the accurate information which is very strange to me.

Overall it is a solid baby monitor camera! It is quick to give you a notification when baby is crying, moving, or coughing. The only issue is that sometimes the software can be laggy and I think the temperature measurements are off, as well as the AI.

I love the monitor for
I love the monitor for two key reasons: 1. Our nanny uses it, which is great for allowing her to not always have her phone on her 2. I sleep with it next to me so that I can easily see what's going on if I get a notification and/or hear her awake. Quick peace of mind I have two main cons, which are my reasons for a four star review: 1. The battery life does not last a full day with the screen on. You have to be diligent about turning the screen off if you want it to last. I wish there were a setting where if she's not detected in bed, it automatically turns off 2. When it does die, I always have to reconnect the wifi afterwards (which is simply annoying since you have to type in a password).

This is my second Nanit
This is my second Nanit I have purchased! I love using the camera as a monitor for my older daughter and my youngest has her own Nanit so I can monitor her along with using the breathing band. It truly is the only thing that has given me peace of mind, especially since bringing her home from the NICU. I was so nervous to move her into a crib in her own room and the Nanit brought so much relief. I recommend it to everyone I know! So thankful!

Thankful for the watchful eye of Nanit. Night vision is a bit grainy as this is the primary setting in which we use it (dark for nap time and sleep) but other than that solid product.

Nanit is the best baby monitor
I chose Nanit over other baby monitor brands because it offers high-quality video and a split-screen function, allowing me to monitor both the baby’s room and the living room at the same time. It also tracks the baby’s breathing, movement, and crying. I feel comfortable working in the office while staying connected through alerts and live monitoring. Overall, I’m very happy with it at home. However, we use a non-WiFi monitor when traveling, since connecting Nanit to hotel WiFi can sometimes be challenging.
