The cream is good but if it is dry skin, but if it is oily skin I do not recommend it.

I have normal skin and after using this product I'm so very shiny. I love there products, but this moisturizer is not for me

I'd consider this more of a dry skin treatment than a long-term everyday moisturizer. It cured my face of some long-term dryness from cleansers and products that were too harsh. The texture seems designed for patting onto the skin since it's kind of hard to rub around, and I think that's why it says to only use a small amount. At first it doesn't feel like enough when you pat it on, but as it warms on your face it melts and gets more oily. Makes my hair stick to my face which is annoying, especially when blow drying. I appreciate how it healed my skin and made it super soft again, though it's too high-maintenence of a product for me to use regularly. I'm interested in their lighter moisturizer for that. This tube lasted me 5 months so that was nice and cost effective.

Personally, i love this for my night routine! With the rich & thick consistency i find it comparable to a night time mask. It absorbs very well, and will definitely give off wet greasy vibes which is why i use it at night for the perfect moisturized morrning skin. A little goes a longgg way. You will be glowing! I have extremely dry, sensitive skin and along with other Ordinary products I have seen a remarkable improvement in my skin texture and health. If I could recommend another product that pairs extremely well with this, and I have seen immediate improvements from, it would be the pink skin barrier serum. I use two pea sizes of this, after the serum, and it covers my face, neck, and décolletage.

First I purchased the gel moisturizer, and it made my face sticky. I purchased this moisturizer hoping it would absorb better with it being a cream. I was wrong. Up to an hour later, and it's still not absorbed enough to put powder foundation on. Not impressed.

Using for more than a year now. Obsessed with this.

I live in the arctic, and have the world dryest and sensetive skin. This moisturizer gives the thick greasy feel i have searched forver for. Your face will soak up the grease, so if im going to use it under makeup i usually wait 30min or so for that. For days/nights im really dry ill use the rosehip oil under this cream and *chefs kiss*. My dry skin has never had a happier winter- i can wear foundation again without getting dry patches!!

I think this moisturizer is quite nice, probably a bit on the pricier side for TO but regardless still a decent product. I would say the only downside is that this would probably benefit someone that doesn't have dry skin, (which is odd considering it's labeled as "rich") or if you're doing a full routine with serums, or toners, etc since you'll have that added moisture. Like, it didn't sink into my skin as I would'e expected from a rich moisturizer. 3.5

This moisturizer is a God send for dry skin.. ther best moisturizer I've come across for my extremely dry skin.. keeps my face hydrated all day.

I'm not 100% sure how to feel about this yet. I bought a small tube directly from The Ordinary website as part of a recommended regimen the website came up based on my skin type. I used all of the small tube, then came to Ulta to buy the larger size. I think it's doing alright in moisturizing my very dry skin overall. I am using it in the morning and at night. It you use more than a tiny bit, it does feel very greasy and the skin doesn't seem to drink it..it feels like it just sits on top. At night I feel the need to add more than I do in the morning so I do get this gross greasy feeling but I notice in the morning my skin looks good and feels moisturized so it's not doing a terrible job. The strange thing about it is that although while I'm applying it, I don't notice any scent, after a few minutes I get a faint scent, almost like gasoline, stuck in my nostrils and I can slightly taste it too. If I smell my hands directly (which I rub with left over product) I don't smell anything but somehow I pick up a scent/taste just from it being absorbed into my skin and it's a bit off-putting. Very chemically. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep purchasing after I make it through this huge tube but for now it's ok enough to continue using until I finish and maybe experiment with something else.

I bought this moisturizer due to the reviews about it being great for dry skin. Unfortunately it did not feel hydrating at all it set on top of my skin like a greasy film and immediately began to pill off… will sadly be returning.

Great product and value. My 50 yo dry skin is loving it. My regular winter moisturizer just wasnt cutting it. This helps so much. Love!

I LOVE this moisturizer. I have oily skin that gets so dry yet maintains an oily sheen in the winter. I desperately needed something to correct my skin barrier and this was it! It’s pretty heavy, so I only use it at night but it’s made a world of difference. After a few nights of use all the dry red skin on my face is gone!
