Great shampoo!
I love this shampoo! I have wavy hair that tends to be on the frizzier side and this shampoo has done wonders for me! I use it along side the conditioner and frizz control gel. It smells so good and I feel like it cleans my hair and I like that is lathers.

Too heavy
If you wash your curly hair every day (or every other day), this is the product for you. Although I explained to store clerk that I ONLY wash every 3 or 4 days, she highly recommended this product. It's too heavy and leaves hair feeling greasy if you're not willing or interested in washing every day. Sad that I spent this much $$ and now cannot return for credit because I was ill and unable to get to the store..................

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love this shampoo! curly hair is so unpredictable this shampoo helps reel it in so I know every day I have bouncy tight curls, and not frizz that makes me look like I'm wearing a football helmet of dryer lint. it can't work alone, you still need the leaves in after the shower, but this shampoo is the best start to a great hair day.

Definitely helps with frizz
I have medium thickness 2b/2c hair. It gets pretty frizzy at times. I decided to try this despite the vad reviews and i think it helped with the frizz quite a bit. I have only used it once but it smells great.

Product smells great, lathers more than I’m used to. My hair feels stripped and dry after I rinse this out. Definitely does not provide enough moisture for my curls and I feel like I have to use more leave in conditioner to compensate. Frizz control is negligible.

I was using generic shampoo that wasn’t ment for my hair, it made my hair dry,frizzy, and constantly tangled. I discovered curl smith by my dad, and I have started to use it more the frizz control shampoo and the frizz control conditioner is what I use and I have noticed my frizz has almost vanished and my hair feels smoother and not tangled. This shampoo it great for with my wavy/curly hair I would definitely recommend 5 stars.

Worth it!
Friends, when I saw the price for this shampoo and conditioner I almost threw up. I was stunned, but I bought it anyway because my hair needs some help. Since Ulta has a great return policy I figured I'd return the products if they didn't wow me. Much to my husband's wallet's chagrin, they are incredible. The smell, the efficacy, everything. I am so insanely impressed. My hair is shiny, bouncy, curly, AND smooth!!! No frizz in sight!!!! Love, love, love curlsmith!

Surprised how much I love this!
I have fine, low-density, color-treated hair. I have long been using Innersense, but with menopause and thyroid issues (and living in the South) the frizz had gotten out of control. I did not expect this one product to help as much as it did. I have not yet bought the conditioner but will do so immediately. Two shampoos in and the frizz control is noticeable! I have better definition and far less frizz, and absolutely no weighing down. When I first used it, in the shower I thought oh, no - it felt like it had stripped my hair of all oil. But after conditioning, I was pleasantly surprised! I have followed with Innersense conditioner, and once styled once with I create lift, next time with Curlsmith's thickening lotion and light gel, and both times had great results. Anxious to try to Curlsmith's anti frizz conditioner and styler next. Still very surprised at how much this one product helped.

Plus I love the moisture styling gels. I also love the Frizz Control Multi-tasking Conditioner! The Frizz Control Cleanser works great with the Frizz Control Multi-tasking Conditioner! It moisturizes my fine hair, without weighing it down. Along with the obvious frizz control.

This is a nice shampoo that goes a long way and works well with my other products. I have found that it does not strip my hair which is great. All in all I am very happy with this as a curly girl!

I have tight-wavy, waist length hair with a few random spots that form spiral curls.. like mermaid style. This shampoo lathers well, cleanses without drying my hair or scalp, smells good - and the scent doesn't clash with my other products.

It is hard to believe, but this cleanser made my hair dry and brittle after using it three or four times. I am a Curlsmith user (curl-quenching wash is my favorite) and I can’t believe this made my hair brittle!
