Waste of money
Not happy with the wash G. It leaves streak marks on my tiles floor. Does not scrub off any marks. I bought by to make my life easier but it has caused more work. I had to use my manual mop after using wash g. Not at all happy with this Dyson. I have been very loyal to Dyson, but this one is a mere disappointment.

The concept is good but not the outcome.
We have had ours 1 year. Not that happy as it doesn’t clean very well and leaves water marks & streaks. We have other Dyson products and this one doesn’t hold up to the usual standard of the brand. It is constantly a poor finish regardless of trying variations of usage and returning it to the manufacturer.

Good cleaner but a lot of work to clean afterwards
Cleaned tiles very well. Could do with better instructions- thank heaven for you tube. Cleaning imachine is very labour intensive with some parts difficult to remove. No detergent supplied which was disappointing for price paid..Overall I'm disappointed with my purchase purely for cleaning after use.

Disappointment
Only 3 stars, as never used machine after setting up & getting myself acquainted with all parts/operating. I returned item. The dirt/debris tray was almost impossible to remove on machine I was sent. I'm no wimp. However, would take gripping strength of a superhero to remove the tray. My husband is very physically fit/strong & had very ddifficult time removing tray. Tray is one of major components needing cleaned. Maybe we received defective dirt/debris tray on unit we received. Very disappointed, as was looking forward to being able to use equipment. Unfortunately, that never happened. Once we realized tray was almost impossible to remove, took apart & back item went. I'm a loyal Dyson customer. This item was disappointment. We have animal rescue & really were in high hopes of this unit help us keep up with dirt & mop all in one. Guess, back to old school with vacuum, broom, mop & bucket.

A good solution for hard floors
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and so far I am loving it! I live in a flat with hard floors (tiles and wood laminate) throughout and this makes cleaning a breeze. Previously I have used spray mops and those flat ones that you squeeze the water out of but was never satisfied with the level of clean. I would have to scrub some stains by hand and never really got a streak free finish. The Dyson washG1 has changed this. I can adjust the level of clean simply by selecting the one I want from the button in the display. So far I am using just water but will try some of the solution too. The videos on the MyDyson app gave clear instructions on how to care for my machine and the self clean function is really useful too. It is so quiet to use and my cat does not run for cover when I come into the room like she does if I am using the vacuum cleaner! It self propels when you press the start button so I just need to steer it without applying a lot of pressure and can pass back and forth for any stubborn cleanups easily. It is easily manoeuvred around furniture too.

A little fiddley
I am finding it a little difficult to empty the debris bin and replacing it. It is also a little heavy. But it did do a very good job of cleaning my hardwood floors and did not leave streaks.

Could use some minor improvements.
I live with dogs and on a gravel road, so I was excited to try out this hard floor cleaner on our tile floors. I am kinda bummed about how it cleans- if you have dried or stuck on mess, it takes multiple (I mean multiple) swipes to get it cleaned. Maybe they should have like a pretreat option? When it’s time to take the tray out to clean- let’s just say with dog hair and gravel- it’s quite gross cause you have to wipe it off cause you don’t want that down your drain! A lot of the hair gets wedged where the rollers don’t touch, so you have to scrape that off too. I do like the amount of charge time you get- 30 plus minutes per charge. When you just want to do a quick wash, I think it would be great because you don’t have to deal with a bucket and mop (which can get stinky!) The noise level is quiet while cleaning and in self cleaning mode. The suction is good, unless you have an uneven spot or a floor divider, then the dirty water piles up. The machine is very light and moves with ease.

Surprising experience
We keep the tile floors of our Florida home clean but were surprised by the amount of dirt the G2 extracted from our seemingly clean floors. Simple to operate and very satisfied by its performance

Great purchase at sale price.
I bought on sale, and at the price paid I think it’s good value. As previous purchasers have stated, the dirt tray is a little tricky to remove, but I think I have it sorted.

Great machine - am very happy with it. Just wish when I bought it there had been the option to purchase the dyson floor cleaning fluid as well as had no idea there was any until I googled it!

Best purchase I have ever done
The purchase of Dyson WashG1 has been the BEST purchase I have ever done and my house has never been so clean. I used to wash the floor every other day and I have say that I was “embarrassed” to see how dirty was the water after the first clean. I strongly recommend to everyone with hard floors.

Handles like a dream
There were no written instructions included. All done through the app. How to turn it on was not made clear. I find it a little heavy to lift but for the actual cleaning it’s super easy and it handles like a dream. I also hate it when they ask for a review and then make you submit a picture. There you can have a screen shot of the email. Are you happy now?
