Grow your indoor garden with Miracle-Gro Organic™ Indoor Potting Mix. This organic potting mix protects against over and under watering. In addition, this potting medium is made with ingredients to help your indoor plants thrive: coir to increase air space and moisture holding capacity, sphagnum peat moss to help retain and release water, and quick-start natural fertilizer that provides immediate nutrition. This product is also OMRI Listed for organic use. Great for seed starting, this indoor gardening soil is for use with any indoor container plant, including houseplants and herbs. For best results, select containers with drain holes. To plant new seeds, fill a container with potting mix. Plant your seeds according to the package directions, and water thoroughly immediately after planting. Keep the soil moist and out of direct sunlight. To use with transplants, partially fill a container with potting mix. Loosen the plant's root ball and place in the pot. Cover with more mix and press lightly. To finish, water thoroughly and let it drain. One 8 qt. bag of potting mix fills 2 8-inch container. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a large indoor palm and a few months ago a branch broke off. I was able to save the branch, and it, it grew roots and I planted it into a pot. But from there it wasn’t doing well. I then decided to replant it using the Miracle-Gro Organic Indoor Potting Mix. Doing this made all the difference. My palm tree is doing amazing. Just the next day the leaves weren’t droopy and the color was brighter. My palm plant looks so healthy now. There is so much going on in this soil, the texture is soft & fluffy when I poured into the planter. I can see all the nutrients. I am so happy how well my palm plant is doing.

My houseplants especially my pothos, and even my finicky money plant have been growing beautifully since I switched to this mix. I can't even believe my money plan is now having a little baby on the side! There was no sign of this prior to my miracle gro use. I love that it's organic, offers a great texture and holds moisture well without getting soggy. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants happy, healthy indoor plants!

It was soft it was sperm it wasn't mushy but it was coarse it held well a great smell I loved all the little extras including in it and most of all I love the fact that it was organic. That really comes in handy when having little dogs around in case they want to go over and mess with the soil which they always want to it held firmly my plants took to it I water them a couple of days ago when I replanted them and they look great

My experience in using this potting mix made my plants grow at a faster pace and it nourishes them with nutrients. This mix has ingredients that helps the soil to re-wet making it easy to water. Plus, it also has an earthy scent to it which I love because other soils can be very different, so trying miracle glo made it easier for my plants to look more healthier. This soil made everything easier when it comes on growing plants, more bogeyed and beautiful plants since using it. Overall it made it to my top 1 list in buying soil for my indoor plants and I had a wonderful experience! Definitely recommend this product!

I always use this product indoors in the early growing season in New Jersey before I transfer my vegetables outside. It smells a little funny every time I get it, but there’s not much to it. I just put it in a small pot and I put some of my early-season vegetable seeds in little cups and I placed them by the window and it works year after year.

While insects are not present at the time of bagging, they can enter the "breathing" holes in the bag (or through larger holes if bag was damaged) during shipping or storage at the retailer or after purchased. Some ways to help control the fungus gnats include using yellow sticky traps. Place them close to the location of the fungus gnats. You may also try to apply at least 1/2 inch of sand on top of the soil of established potted container plants. Larvae cannot burrow through the sand and will die. Sand should be left on the container for several weeks until the problem is solved. Do not apply sand to seedlings or if trying to start plants from seeds. This can damage or hinder seedling development. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee. I dislike reading reviews where people were paid or “influenced” to write 5 star reviews. It’s inauthentic and fake. Things I know that are terrible and have meh or bad reviews are from the real shoppers and not those who were paid to give good reviews. So my review: it’s good, I like it. I will know in a month if my plants like it too. I like the ingredients and that it’s organic.

This was a new indoor organic potting mix that I had not used before and I loved it. I planted these plants a couple of weeks ago and they’re doing great. The plants were overgrown in some pots and not doing well and within two weeks they are thriving in their new pots and soil.
