    Not a great start.

    I purchased the lotion with the cleanser after watching video reviews and doing follow-up reading. I was looking to correct hyperpigmentation and have t-zone sensitive skin. Both products smell like chemicals and the lotion leaves a sticky residue. After two weeks I got my first pimple in years. It also leaves a burning sensation on my skin. I wanted this to work but you should not feel dirty and poisoned after washing and moisturizing your face.

    Works for me

    I started getting folliculitus and acne on my chest due to epilation. Using a zinc pyrthrione soap bar helped, but the Cetaphil SA Lotion really made a difference. I think it is the mandelic and sylicylic acid combo which works deeply and at the surface level. It is a bit thicker than I like. I hope they continue to make and offer it a larger size.

    Gentle, soothing and smoothing lotion I use day and night!

    As someone with sensitive skin, I can say I love to use this lotion daily. It has a thin texture that sits well under make up. There is definitely a difference in my skin! I have sensitive, red skin with texture on my nose and chin, this lotion helps keep my skin smooth with a very gentle exfoliation. Cetaphil is genuinely a great affordable option for our house.

    This does wonders for my keratosis pilaris on my arms. Not greasy. No scent. I exfoliate in the shower and then apply this right after, never had more clear skin in my life!

    Great acne lotion for face and body

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a moisturizing lotion, you can use it daily and it exfoliates your body gently, it is zero abrasive on your skin, so if you have sensitive skin this product could be the one for you. I like that it is a chemical exfoliant, which is much more effective and safer than those physical exfoliants. This acid contains glycolic which is very good for skin with excess impurities and oil.

I also received face lotion, body lotion, and they all had the exact same ingredients. It’s just in different size bottles so that seems kind of confusing. I used it for a while and I did not see any difference. Overall, it didn’t hurt. It was a good lotion and moisturized, but for me, it was not effective.
