My favorite thing about Premier Protein's Mixed Berry Almond Cereal it that it has freeze-dried strawberries and raspberries in the mix. The best bites had the tangy freeze-dried fruit and almond pieces, but the cereal itself was not very flavorful. The cereal has the aroma of mixed berries, but the taste is plainer than plain Corn Flakes. As a standalone cereal with milk, I did not like this cereal much, but... as a protein-packed topping on high-protein yogurt, I liked the cereal quite a lot! I wouldn't recommend this as a cereal, but it does give a nice texture and protein boost if you add it to yogurt!

I tried the berry flavor & sadly after one bite I had to spit it out. It really was dense & dry tasting even with milk, I felt like I was eating cardboard. To start with, its difficult to get a cereal with 20 grams of protein in one cup that taste good. It helps me maintain my daily protein intake while watching for added sugar. There is no aftertaste and I love the texture. The almonds and berries are a bit crunchy so i let it soften. This is an excellent value for money! I recommend to all needing extra protein!
