This bassinet it’s great for its price. Baby sleeps really well in it. It’s on the smaller side, which we needed for our small apartment room. One down side is this bar part that goes down. I’ve scratched my self on that piece way too many times. Plus I have to be super conscious when taking my baby in and out, especially now that he’s older and moving around pretty scary if it would scratch him. Also we will have to move him out sooner than later because it’s small.

Unless you have a low profile bed this bassinet is not bedside. Also the “mattress” is literally cardboard with a sheet around it. Have no idea how this is even trending

A mattress support or board is required when using the bassinet in the Bedside Me mode, because the bassinet must remain fully stable and level when attached to the adult bed. All of our mattresses are federally regulated and meet required safety standards. Best regards, the Baby Delight Team

Mattress indented where baby lays his head
My baby has slept in his bassinet every night for 3 months and the place where he lays his head has an indent and no matter what I do I cannot make it go back to normal. They say it’s good to use until they are 5 months old but it doesn’t seem like I should keep using it if the mattress is doing that.

Just got my package and you could clearly see that it had been opened before. I looked inside and by one of the poles, you could tell it had been used. Very disappointing!

Convenient and super cute
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this bassinet. It was easy to put together and only took one person. The instructions are thorough. The mattress feels firm but also a good amount of padding which is awesome because my baby kicks a lot. I love that this bassinet opens up to my bed so I can hand my baby his paci and see him through the night without having to get out of bed, such a game changer. Overall this bassinet feels very sturdy and is so aesthetic. Highly recommend definitely worth the money!

Sturdy and Versatile Bassinet, but Assembly Could

It feels sturdy and well-made, and I love that the fabric is organic—it’s soft, safe for baby, and gives peace of mind. The height is adjustable up to 7 levels, which is super convenient. I can set it low beside our sofa during the day and adjust it higher to match our bed at night. The design is modern and minimal, with a soothing color that blends nicely with any room. It’s practical for everyday use and feels like it will last through more than one baby. My only real complaints are the assembly and portability. The instructions were confusing and lacked detail, especially for attaching the mattress and cover. I’ve built plenty of furniture before (dressers, bed frames, tables), but this still left me scratching my head, and I’m not sure I even got it 100% right. It’s also a bit heavy and doesn’t fold, so carrying it upstairs is tricky. That said, once set up, it works beautifully and is very stable. If the instructions were clearer, it would easily be a perfect 5-star purchase.

Safe and secure Bassinet 👶

The Beside Me Serenity Organic Bassinet and Bedside Sleeper is honestly one of the best Bassinets I have ever tried. It is adjustable to 4 different heights which is great because not everyone’s bed is the same height. The cushion inside is very soft and sturdy, making the baby feel safe and secure and it has Velcro attachments/zips which add on to the secureness. The Bassinet was very easy to put together as all the part had push in buttons, so no need to screw anything in. Overall, I’d give the product a 5/5 and 100% add this to my baby’s bedtime routine.

My only complaints are it’s a little on the smaller size, and it doesn’t have wheels for easy portability. It is also adjustable in height but it requires you to remove the provided screws.

Great for your newborn
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We already have the fisher price one that vibrates but have this one a shot. And we love it. I love that it opens for bedside! Seems very sturdy. And was super easy to put together. The mesh net allows breathable space. The storage isn’t as big as our other. The only downfall is our other one has lights and white noise and vibration.

While we have ours sitting on legs, it does have the ability to attach to the side of the bed. We love how compact it is while still giving our baby plenty of room. I do think that the instructions to assemble it were a bit unclear and it took a few times of putting it together to make sure everything was correct.

Frustrating assembly, decent product
Bassinet metal frame came scuffed and repainted over. Mesh liner is extremely tight fitting and in some corners, too small exposing the frame, held together by small Velcro strips. One snap on mattress piece was expanded and would not snap into place securely. Bassinet itself is otherwise lightweight and easy to move.

Eases cosleeping anxiety with newborns
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This baby delight beside me bassinet is perfect for you if you struggle between wanting to cosleep with your baby but are worried about the risks. It can be used as a stand alone bassinet or you can fold the side down and attach it to your bed. This cool feature gives you easy access to baby and let's them sleep right beside you so you can always have an eye on them. But it decreases the risk of suffocation because baby has their own space so you won't accidentally roll over on baby or have things fall on top of them. It even comes with strings to fasten the bassinet to the bed. I do wish it was easier to install though because I had some trouble making the pieces fit together. I would suggest using this as a supplementary bassinet instead of your sole crib though because it it pretty soft and obviously flimsier than a crib. But up to 4 months old, this is a good choice.

Don't waste your time!
The mesh lining has holes in it, the poles are scuffed up, and it is pretty hard to snap the parts into place. Baby Delight customer service is a NIGHTMARE.

I have a 3 month old that is very picky and when you put him down in it for nap he actually stays asleep so I take it as it’s comfortable! As far as him being in it I have no worries it’s very sturdy and safe the railings are solid all around feel safe with him in it even with my 3 year old trying to hang over it.
