Q: Can this be used to make a hand soap or dish soap?
A: Hi there, yes! Hi! For cleaning dishes, there are a few options. If you want to soak the dishes you can spray about 10 sprays of the All-Purpose solution or add 1 tsp Concentrate into the sink or mixing bowl. Add hot water, agitate to create suds, soak dishes in solution and then wash. Some people prefer to spray directly onto each dish, leave the room while the product breaks down dirt and grime, then return to simply rinse and wipe dishes clean with a scrub brush or sponge. If you have an empty foaming wash bottle you can use 1 part Concentrate to 4 parts water to make a foaming wash for your hands!

Q: Can the concentrate be used for dish soap and laundry detergent as well?
A: Hi! Yes it can be used for both! For cleaning dishes, there are a few options. If you want to soak the dishes you can spray about 10 sprays of the All-Purpose solution (1 part concentrate to 11 parts water) or add 1 tsp Concentrate into the sink or mixing bowl. Add hot water, agitate to create suds, soak dishes in solution and then wash. Some people prefer to spray directly onto each dish, leave the room while the product breaks down dirt and grime, then return to simply rinse and wipe dishes clean with a scrub brush or sponge. For laundry, here is the dilution ratio: 1 part Branch Basics Concentrate to 2 parts water. For laundry, you'll use about 1 Tbls of the solution for a regular sized lightly soiled load. You'll need a little more for larger loads or heavily soiled loads of laundry. You can think of "parts" as any form of measurement you'd like. I usually think of it in ounces, so if you had a 24 ounce bottle and wanted to create the all-purpose solution, you'd use 2 ounces of concentrate and 22 ounces of water. Our system isn't very fussy, so you don't have to worry about being exact.

Q: Can this be used to mop hardwood floors?
A: Hi! Yes. Branch Basics can be used on hardwood flooring or on wood furniture. Only very diluted solutions of Branch Basics should be used on sealed wood because a more concentrated solution could break down the finish. Always test it in an inconspicuous area before cleaning entire floor, and minimize use of the solution on wood floor by spraying the solution onto a slightly damp mop to clean the floor. The breakdown for use on wood floors would be: 1 - 2 teaspoons Concentrate per gallon of water (16 cups) ½ - 1 teaspoon Concentrate per ½ gallon of water (8 cups) ¼ - ½ teaspoon Concentrate per ¼ gallon of water (4 cups) ⅛ - ¼ teaspoon Concentrate per ⅛ gallon of water (2 cups)

Q: why are the ingredients in the target product different than the product available on the BB website?
A: Hi there. The ingredients are the same, except that the Sodium Phytate has been removed from the Target formula and replaced with Sodium Gluconate. This is an environmental improvement that will go into effect with all of our formulas soon!

Q: Confused, so the dillution ratio is different from the original from web w/ intro of Sodium Gluconate. So if we have the BB glass bottles that have indentation level marks do those still apply?
A: Good question. The dilution ratios have not changed. The sodium gluconate is a chelator, anti-redeposition agent and corrosion inhibitor. It is derived from glucose. You can continue to use your glass bottles and follow the fill lines. Please reach out to our customer support team with any questions. THANK YOU for using Branch Basics!
