I am confused
The cooker is great but the measurements are very confusing to me. The instructions say for 1/2 rice measure, amount of water is 0.5. There is 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 marks on the cup. What does the 1/4 yield?

Non stick coating is flaking
Saw another review where the pot lining began to flake off of the bottom after only several months of use. That is the same thing that is happening to mine. Love how it works but extremely disappointed in how quickly the non stick coating is flaking.

Undercooks rice 100% of the time

Works well
I bought this for myself as I live alone. It's small and only makes 3 cups cooked rice but that's fine for me. That amount is 1 meal with leftovers.

Mini Rice cooker
It’s a perfect appliance for a single person and very easy to use. I have one and love it and just got this one for my 12 yr old nephew who likes to cook and loves Pokey bowls. He loves it!!

I Love this Black and Decker Rice cooker. It is so easy to use and clean. The rice does not get stuck together or stuck on the bottom. The rice comes out perfect every time. If you don’t have this yet, go out and treat yourself to one. You will be happy. I highly recommend this Rice Cooker.

I love that cooking rice only takes 20-30 minutes, and then it has an automatic warm function that automatically kicks on to keep the rice warm and fluffy. It's so easy and fast to cleanup it is dishwasher-safe, but with the nonstick pot and tempered glass lid it only takes a few minutes to clean.

I have cooked rice in a saucepan on the stove for over 40 years. Finally got tired of watching that it didn't boil over before I could turn the heat down; then remember to check it after 20 minutes to make sure it was cooked and ready to eat. Took awhile but I finally wised up and decided to buy a rice cooker. Glad I found B&D 3-cup cooker. Worked perfectly the first time (noticed the burn smell the first time as warned on reviews). Followed directions for amount of raw rice and water. All I had to do was listen for the 'click' when cooking was over. Rice came out perfectly. Can't believe I waited so long to buy a rice cooker. Size is just right for small family. Takes up very little space on counter.
