Damaged
I want to love this frame tv because the components are built-in vs the Samsung frame tv that has the detached components. Also the magnetic frame is included with the TCL which saves about $250 compared to having to pay with the Samsung. The problem I've had with the TCL is that I've ordered 2 tv's and both were damaged. The protective packaging is inadequate. Both tv"s were bent and bowed. I'm going to order one more and hope for the best.

Picture Frame TV!
I had this shipped by target and my package was in perfect condition! The other reviews had me a bit scared. I didn’t want to pay the high price for the competitive brand and was excited when this tv went on sale. The quality seems nice so far, the sound can be better, and a dim feature would have been nice when the gallery is up. Overall good value for what you get. I wish there were more frame cover options available but it is nice they include the light wood pieces. We live in an apartment and covered the cord, as we can’t cut into our wall. My husband said mounting it was pretty easy with the stencil they provided but the anchors kind of sucked. You can still see some glare if the sun is strong. Super thin!

Horrible Target customer service
Don’t order a tv from target. We have had the most horrible interaction with customer service. It is as if they dont care at all. My wife and I purchased this TV about two months ago. When it arrived at our house the box was so damaged that you could literally see the TV. So they arranged for someone to pick it up and send us a new one. Then we had to wait and wait and wait and wait. Every week or so my wife would call to enquire, and they would say they still have not verified that it was picked up by there delivery team... it took about 6 weeks of this till finally they sent us a new one. For our trouble they offer a $5 store credit. The new one comes in the box looks miss handled a bit but not smashed and ripped open like the first time. (This is a flat screen tv, the box show look perfect, no further explanation needed) Reluctant to go through this process again. We open the box and everything seems ok. We install the mounting hardware and hang the TV on the wall. As I begin to put the trim peices that just magnetically attach, I notice that the screen is curved l. I thought maybe the it was supposed to be curved. Turns out the TV is bent! The metal frame around the TV is bent and miss shaped. The TV turns on just fine but my worry is that the electrical components may have been disturbed... how long it will last I dont know? Based on the other reviews I am very concerned. Contacted tcl they said its damage and targets responsibility. My issue is unresolved and If you dont want to have a horrible experience like this my advice is to shop somewhere else!

bug in the firmware update, TV unusable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a TCL 2 weeks ago, I have had to return the first model to the store as the update corrupted the firmware. I now have a second model where the update has corrupted, and instead of being provided with a downloadable firmware file (which usually happens with other companies) I have been asked for repeated photos of the issue, when the issue is that the update corrupted, I cannot restore the TV to factory settings and I have no way of updating it. Im really disappointed that such a simple fix has taken over 2 weeks to get any support on, and now I will likely return the tv and exchange for another brand, which im really disappointed about

Quality investment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure what to expect with this tv but it has been awesome!! The picture quality is great for both shows/movies and the frame/art setting - if the screen weren’t so bright in my darker living room, it would really look like a painting! The matte screen is great at preventing glare. The tv is facing a large window in my living room and I haven’t had any issues with being able to view the screen. The setup was a little tricky - beware you have to still at least 6 holes to securely mount the tv. I have been an amazon fire stick loyalist but the functionality of the google tv is amazing!! Lastly, the frame is magnetic so it will be nice to be able to switch it out in the future if my design aesthetic changes. It came with a standard light wood looking frame that will suffice for now.

Coolest TV I have every owned
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the coolest TV I have ever owned. The picture quality is INSANE, when not using this as a TV we keep the museum artwork displayed as well art. When I say that this looks like a real painted picture on the wall that is back lit, this is the honest truth. Every brush stroke in the painting looks like it extends. Additionally, since there is no glare in the TV screen, we are able to stand in front of the TV at any angle and see it perfectly. I am truly amazed.  This TV sits flush against the wall so it looks very sleek. Installation was a breeze as the tv came with a paper guide if where to out the screws in the wall and the TV mount were two hooks that slide in. This is me reaching, bur the inly downfall, and I mean ONLY is that we are not able to hide the TV chord behind the TV because it is is so flush. I love love love the quality if this TV and my home has been transformed into an art gallat when it is not being used for movies. 1 million out of 10 recommend!!!!
