Heated plastic again
Purchased this machine hoping, Iike many others, that nothing hot will come in contact with plastic. The q&a section “experts” ensured people that no hot water or coffee will come in contact with plastic. This is false. SEE MY PIC. As now we know that heated plastic leaches plastic into our coffees, this is not the one to buy. Plastic material where the hot coffee will be flowing through. Hope this helps someone not be misled like I was. My hunt continues…

Our previous DeLonghi was great but this one is a game changer! It’s really easy to use one you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Keep them close on hand until both you and your husband get the hand of how to use it. From there’s it’s pretty simple. Everyday same nice espresso.

UniUnit todaUntil today we would have highly recommended this espresso machine. We use it daily and have never had an issue. This morning however it decided that it was not going to work anymore. We tried unplugging and waiting but the lights are blinking and it won't brew espresso. The water tank is filled and we used it the same as every other day. It has only been 7 months since it was purchased.

Easy to use
My family of 4 adults have been using this machine daily for just over a month and we really enjoy it. My only comment is it takes 3 mins for the machine to cool down after you use the milk steamer so if you’re making multiple drinks you have to do all the espressos and then all the milk’s.

It’s a nice compact size. Makes excellent coffee except when I go to empty the coffee grounds the Porta filter. Is full of water. That tells me I’m not getting the maximum extract. Maybe I’m grinding my coffee to find? Other than that it’s a great little machine so far.

However if you’re a serious coffee person you’ll probably want to end up upgrading to a more advanced models with extra features like built in grinder and multiple coffee styles.

Sometimes back to back shots isn’t too consistent so should wait a bit for the machine to recover. The steamer is easy to use with okay power. I don’t like how light the portafilter feels because it feels cheap.

Beautiful Machine, Great Espresso

The fact that it has a steam spout is such a bonus! It's small enough that it doesn't take up a ton of our limited counter space, but with a water tank big enough to last the week. The temperature is easy to control and it brews quickly. Such a sleek design and the size is perfect for my countertop and doesn’t take up too much space. The frother is the icing on the cake and steams the milk so quickly and elegantly. I feel like a barista! Easy to maintain and clean.

Disappointed
The inside of the filter holder is plastic so the espresso is running through plastic when making it. Also espresso is not very hot. Steamer is mediocre.
