[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the color in sugar smush which is transparent. I struggle with dry chapped lips especially in the summer time. This lip balm doesn’t last long and will have to be reapplied throughout the day. It does go on soft and gives off a matte finish. I didn’t see or feel it give a lot of hydration but it didn’t make it worse. It has a light fragrance which I don’t mind.

I don’t typically do red because I have fair skin but Sassy Stuff turned out to be the perfect red for me. My lips stay soft and hydrated. • It gives a nice soft-matte, blurred finish that looks natural. • The scent is lovely — noticeable but not overpowering. Cons: • It’s not long-lasting at all. It comes off easily after drinking or eating. • The formula is very slippery, so the color can apply unevenly. • Bold or dark shades like my SMB12 tend to look patchy, especially if applied too heavily. If applied carefully — in a thin layer and blended — it can look quite pretty. But if you’re expecting lasting color, this might not be for you.
