To get any scent off of your dishes, we recommend you soak the dishes in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added to it (or) run them through the dishwasher (assuming the dishes are dishwasher safe). If you choose to wash the dishes in the dishwasher, pour some vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher along with some vinegar directly into the dispenser. You can also put a cup of vinegar upright on the top rack of the dishwasher so that it gets knocked over and distributed during the wash. It may take a couple of cycles, but the smell will come out. These pods consistently deliver a deep clean, even for dishes with dried-on food or greasy residue. I’ve noticed that I rarely need to pre-rinse now, which saves time and water. The scent is light and fresh—not overpowering. More importantly, my dishes, especially glasses, come out sparkling clear with no streaks or cloudiness. The detergent also doesn’t leave any unpleasant film or residue on plastic items.

I received a trial pack to use in my new dish washer and let's just say I'm less than impressed with the whole deal. The dishwasher isn't my favorite but this brand in particular out of the 3 I've used now DOES NOT like plastic. I didn't use the power dry but it was a load of plastic cups and silverwear and 2 glass plates. Everything but the plastic sparkled. I included a picture of still stuck on soda and a huge Sud stream left over on one cup.

The liquid Cascade complete doesn’t have this issue. However, these seem to be a good value for the money and I like that they are small and an all in one solution

An excellent value and the scent doesn’t linger on the dishes. We received a smaller pack in a resealable bag, but prefer the larger packs in plastic tubs to make it easier to keep water out. Highly recommend.

These are spectacular -no rinsing dishes ahead of time.-Just make sure that you get off the food put them in your dishwasher and the next time you open it you will have sparkling clean dishes. The packaging is really nice and easy to use especially with just being able to just throw th into your dishwasher. A bang for your buck because even before getting this product I would buy the other scents different cascade pods and this was a nice way to try a different one for a change. The pods melt into the dishwasher when it’s in use so the environmental impact isn’t bad at all because you’re not littering any scraps of the packaging.
