Broke me out every time
I have acne prone skin that's combo dry and oily in winter. I thought this would be a great moisturizer because it doesn't seem to contain any acne causing ingredients. But every time I used this, I woke up with a pimple or two the next day. It also didn't feel moisturizing after application. My skin actually felt drier. It does feel nice when you apply it and it's not greasy. I guess it's not for people with sensitive skin. I've never found a Philosohy product that didn't cause acne, so I'm done with this brand.

I’ve been applying it as my final step in my night time routine and by morning my face feels Incredibly plump and bouncy. It’s perfect for those nights when my skin feels dull or parched. It doesn’t just hydrate, it leaves a noticeable healthy glow! The entire process is simple. Leave on your skin over night, in the morning do your normal wash routine and you will feel more awake, look more alive all day long. I love this mask and it has not caused me any breakouts so that is a huge plus!

So grateful for this cream!
My skin type is dry, I live in a dry climate & its winter. To make it worse, I was sick & congested for a week & using decongestants which can stop your facial skin from producing oil. I used a super combo of Sunday Riley's Tidal HA + Hope In A Jar Night over it for AM & PM and it was the first time in 20 years my skin didnt shrivel up when sick! Been using almost every night for 2 months now and I love how hydrated, soft, smooth & glowy my skin looks. Just bought 2 more jars lol

It’s very comfortable and soothing on the skin and I wake up feeling soft and refreshed the next morning after using it. It has not ever caused me to have any kind of breakouts which is a huge plus for me.

Everytime, I use this product, I wake up in the morning with skin that looks refreshed and is hydrated. I think my skin has improved over time since using this product a couple of times a week. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just want to start of by saying this this mask has done amazing things for my face! It is what it says it is, "Hope in a jar!" The texture feels so good on my face and the smell isn't even close to overpowering and even after just the first time that I had used it, I swear, my face was glowing the next day and I of all people have some of the worst most sensitive skin ever but this did nothing but wonderful things for me and my face and my appearance and to this day I'm still using it as it's a pretty big jar and I ain't switching to nothing else or turning back since it now took me years and years of my life to finally find something that works for me and my face to give me my confidence back!

Great for dull, dry skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hope in A Jar mask is quiet effective. It has the emollient properties of a nice creamy formula with the soothing properties of a gel-textured mask. I love that there's absolutely no scent! I did feel a slight tingling the first two or three nights I used it, presumably due to the glycolic acid, but it was very mild and dissipated very quickly. My skin is relatively sensitive and I experienced no visible irritation either. When using this product, I wake up with soft, "plump" skin. It is not greasy, but it is definitely not dull. The black glass packaging also offers nice curb appeal.
