I will be returning this and I just purchased this yesterday. The packaging is horrible. You have to turn it upside down to pump it out. It took me 5 mins to get any product out and then it was not consistent with the amout. If this was in a squeeze tube then maybe I might consider giving it a better try. Or change it to where you can hold it upright and then pump the product out. Sorry, a pass for me.

I absolutely love this product. After years and years and years of trying new sunscreens I have found the perfect one. It is absolutely sheer, glides on beautifully and has the perfect matt finish without looking dry whatsoever. I wish it came in a huge bottle for my entire body.

I Love it !! The texture and matte finish is the best. I would Love to have SPF 50 and up . Dont understand why SPF 40 but i will keep it.

I NEVER right reviews but I felt I needed to with this one. I was really hoping to like this but it's awful! I really like their ultrasheer body sunscreen so I thought I would give it a try. It doesn't feel like a gel more like a silicone. It's pills like crazy over moisturizer so I tried it with a clean dry face and it still pilled. It also made my face itchy and I don't have sensitive skin. I washed it off immediately. I hope they let me take this back because it isn't cheap. Would not recommend.

Clearly, this is Neutrogena's attempt to create a dupe of Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen. It's the same gross, slimy mixture of silicones that never absorbs and feels slick and greasy even 10 hours later. It sits on top of your skin making your face feel shrink-wrapped, and makes any make-up you've put on top of it slide right off. It is not a gel--gels are water-based. I hated this and threw it in the trash.

It is really good for chemical sunscreen. It does irritate my eyes when a little sweaty. So I wear a 100% mineral sunscreen around eyes. It does well under makeup but replication after 2 hours removes some makeup, blush. I just deal with it and carry a lip tint with me to reapply blush. It would be amazing if Neutrogena would make an SPF 50 blush or a Lip/blush SPF 50 that is unscented and NO taste or after taste.

Pills horribly!!

I would NOT recommend using this sunscreen if you're going to put on moisturizer before. Its one or the other because putting them both will cause MAJOR pilling. However, there is no white cast at all which I LOVE. It is literally invisible. For my skin type- Im okay with not putting on moisturizer. The sunscreen itself is a little moisturizing.

Pills HORRIBLY like every Neutrogena face sunscreen I've tried. I'm really disapointed becaues this is the most minimal ingredients I've found and has nothing that flares my eczema, allergies or fungal acne. I hope they fix this product!!!

This new gel sunscreen is awful it pills so bad and it feels gritty. As soon as I put it on after moisturizer it pills immediately. 100 percent do not recommend.

I’ve tried pumping this thing like a hundred times and no product will come out. I stored it how it shows it the box and held ir face down how it says and nothing. On top of that when I try to return it says this item is not returnable. Almost $20 down the drain

Goes on dry and sheer, just as advertised. Feels like it helps keep my oily skin more matte and doesn’t pill or slip and slide under makeup. I tried a bunch of drugstore sunscreens and this is the closest I’ve come to the texture and primer-like makeup grip of Supergoop’s Unseen Sunscreen but for a fraction of the price. Buy it now and your face will thank you!

It is compact in size and easy to bring along on trips and vacations. I really like how easy, efficient, and convenient the pump is. The pump is sturdy and you have really good control with the amount you're trying to get therefore no product waste. The product inside truly lives up to its name for being ultra sheer and as an invisible gel. It applies so smoothly and sheer, it doesn't even feel like you have it applied on your face. It doesn't feel sticky or slick on the skin, it seems to absorb and becomes one with your skin which is great. This would work really well as a primer for makeup because it was able to smooth out my imperfections, big pores, and mattifying the oily skin on my bare face with just the sunscreen alone. My eyes are usually very sensitive when using sunscreen but this didn't burn or irritate them at all.

You can also easily apply makeup over it. I also really like that this doesn't have much of a fragrance, which can be overpowering on your face. I love the fact it's water resistant, which is amazing for the summer months. So, overall this is an excellent product that I will definitely keep buying!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed by the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Invisible Gel Face Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 product. The texture is a velvet type of smooth and I love that it was scent free. The application was flawless and the ingredients were a huge plus for me. No burning or peeling after wearing in the sun and I actually only had to reapply once during a day of tanning. I would recommend this product!
