We know how frustrating that is when you've already taken the right troubleshooting step. Since you've already isolated the 2.4 GHz band, here are a few additional things that may help get you connected: Router compatibility — Some newer mesh routers and certain ISP-provided gateways have security protocols (like WPA3) that can cause connection failures with smart home devices. Try switching your router's security setting to WPA2 temporarily to test. Wi-Fi password — Special characters or very long passwords can sometimes cause pairing issues. Try temporarily setting a simple password (letters and numbers only) to rule this out. Distance during setup — During the initial pairing process, place the camera within a few feet of your router. Once connected, you can move it to its permanent location. Blink app and phone settings — Make sure Bluetooth and Location Services are enabled on your phone during setup, as the app uses both for the initial pairing. Also confirm you're running the latest version of the Blink app. Factory reset — Press and hold the reset button on the bottom of the camera for about 15 seconds until the light flashes blue, then try the setup process again from scratch. The "incorrect password" error with the correct password is a known issue that's usually fixable. Here are a few things to try: Check your Wi-Fi band — The Blink Mini 2K+ only connects to 2.4 GHz networks. If your router broadcasts a combined 2.4/5 GHz network under one name, the camera may be trying to connect to the 5 GHz band and failing. Try temporarily disabling the 5 GHz band, or if your router allows it, create a separate 2.4 GHz SSID to connect the camera to. Special characters in your password — Some special characters (like emojis, accented letters, or certain symbols) can cause connection issues. If your Wi-Fi password contains any, try temporarily changing it to something simpler with only letters and numbers to test. Copy-paste the password — If you're typing it manually, a small typo or extra space can trigger the error. Try copying and pasting your password directly to rule that out. Restart your router — A quick power cycle of your router can sometimes clear connection issues that prevent new devices from joining. Reliable outdoor camera
Great camera for outdoors, I had to buy the outdoor extension from blink that is water proof and to make the power cable longer. The camera works well, it doesn't drop wifi connection. If you have a have a firestick you can view this camera feed on tv as well.

Do not do business with this company. They are completely fraudulent. I bought this camera at Target based on the idea that blink promised the camera would operate without the use of the credit card. This is a bald-faced lie. I have been the victim of frequent credit card fraud, and bought this camera on the idea that I would not expose my credit card to yet another vulnerable website. All I can tell you is that The Blink company is run by criminals.

The Blink Mini 2K does offer basic functionality without a paid subscription plan. Without a Blink Subscription Plan, you can still use live view, two-way audio, and receive motion notifications at no additional cost beyond the camera purchase. A Blink Subscription Plan is optional and provides added features such as cloud video storage, video history, and the ability to save and share clips. If you choose not to subscribe, you can still store video clips locally using a Blink Sync Module 2 paired with a USB flash drive, which requires no credit card or ongoing payment. If you were prompted to enter payment information during setup, this may have been part of an optional trial offer for the Blink Subscription Plan, which can be declined during the account creation process. To ensure no unwanted charges occur, you can verify your subscription status in the Blink app under Account Settings > Manage Subscription Plan, and remove any payment method if one was added. Use Blink Mini to check in on loved ones
My Blink Mini security bcamera came in very handy for viewing Mom's caretakers as they were helping Mom in her home. It was important that we let the caretakers know we had a camera in the home so they were aware. It gave us great piece of mind to be able to check in on Mom from time to time via the Blink Mini. I also use the Blink Mini in my home. I have it pointed towards the front door and windows. It works great although there is some sensitivity related to Sunshine and passing clouds as periodically I'll receive a false motion alert. That's not a huge deal, but a light sensitivity adjustment would help.

A small versatile camera that gives you peace of m
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m pretty impressed with this mini camera. The 2K clarity is noticeably sharper than standard HD- faces are much clearer. The enhanced audio is a nice upgrade and due to that, conversations and background noises don’t come in muffled or static like you get with some other indoor cameras. My favorite feature is probably the colored night vision because I can see what’s happening in real time as opposed to just guessing which shadow is which. The AI detection definitely helps cut down on unnecessary notifications because it does a good job distinguishing between general motion and people. Setup was quick and straightforward, its plug in so you won’t have to worry about batteries running low. You ideally could mount this outside as well with a proper adapter giving it even more flexibility. Keep in mind that you will need to download the app and pay for a subscription to access all the features that blink has to offer. But everything you’d want to do is easily customizable and controllable in the app.

Perfect for keeping an eye on her when I am not home. Lightweight, small and comes with a very long power cord which is nice. Seems like it is very well made and will last a while. Maybe we got a faulty one
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really wanted to love this but my husband and I both tried connecting it and neither of us could get it to connect. Kept getting error. Also said starting out should have a solid green light with a blinking blue light but all we had was a blinking green light and there is no power or reset button just a plug. The feel of the camera feels very durable like it would be great but just couldn’t get it connected for us.
