    Adjusting to the IXEO - not what I expected

    I did not expect the product to be all plastic... Upon assembly we broke a little plastic tab that locks one piece into another. I worry that the product will not hold up.

    Good product

    I like my Rowenta steamer. However, the tank doesn’t hold a lot water and I wish the table could tilt straight. Overall a good product and quality.

    New awful design

    They changed the design! I bought this product in 2020 for $179 at Bloomingdale’s. It was a very respectable design. I used it for over 5 years until I dropped the iron while moving and broke it. I order a new Rowena and when I get the box I see the design has completely changed. The plastic is right next to the heated iron so the smell is awful as I am ironing. I have a small laundry room and am coughing at the burning plastic smell. The product is cheaper and mostly plastic now including the water tank. Not worth almost double price I paid for. Bring the old design back please! I am unfortunately returning this and going to find something that is not plastic and burns as I iron!

    Happy with the quality of the iron and ease of ironing!

    Like the ease of ironing all clothes and linens. It is light, and the fact that we don’t have to regulate temperature is just awesome.

    Ok and needs improvement

    The steam works great and does the job well, but the construction could use some improvement. The ironing board has a plastic base, and since it’s something you have to use daily, I don’t think it will last more than 5 months before breaking. It would also be nice if it came with a rotating hanger with shoulders to better fit men’s t-shirts. Overall, I’m still getting used to it, but the performance of the steam itself is solid.

    I bought in October 2024 and it stopped working July 2025

    I've only had the steamer for 8 months and it's already stopped working. The unit is heard running, the water tank gets hot but no steam comes out of it only water drips from the iron. Big waste of $250

    Hot wheels needed!

    I love everything about this product with one exception: the wheels are very small and inefficient at moving the steamer from place to place. It has been very difficult to move on carpet and hard surfaces. If that is corrected, it would be perfect!

    Great wrinkle control

    Easy to use and heats up fast. The board helps to flatten out the wrinkles. The water reservoir is small compared to the size of the unit.

    Disappointed

    I broke down a month and a half after I bought it. Steam didn't work, only water flowed and I asked them for service. After that, I received the product and there was no email about how long it would take to repair anything wrong. Also, I emailed them saying that steam smells weird when using the product after repair, but they didn't reply. I thought it would be comfortable because it has an ironing board attached, and I prefer German products, so I buy appliances. But I'm very disappointed with their service

    If I could do it all over again . . . . .

    The setup is alright but the overall functionality is really just okay and not that much of an improvement of the current iron options with a much more limited surface area to work on than the traditional ironing board. There needs to be a way to control how much steam you can produce along with an alert of how much water is left.

    Easy to use but requires its own space

    I bought my steamer a few years ago and use it as an alternative to sending anything out to be pressed or dry cleaned. It’s saved me a lot of money on that front. Once I put it together – which wasn’t very hard to do – I realize that the table was a bit wobbly when you’re moving it but otherwise it’s steady when you’re using it. It is an investment in money and in space. I think it’s designed for people who have separate laundry rooms as opposed to me where I have it in the corner of my bedroom next to my closet so it can be used often in hindsight, I don’t think I would buy this again - not because it’s not good, but rather because of how much space it takes. I think I would’ve been fine with a high powered iron and separate steamer as needed. To each his own and we all learn over time.

    The unit was dead on arrival. I plugged it in and nothing happened, no lights, nothing. This is unusual for Rowena but still, it shouldn't happen.
