  • A: That's strange - this is the quietest fan I've ever purchased. It's mostly used as white noise at night and the "Calm" setting is perfect and subtle. Even the strongest setting "Cool" doesn't make a roaring noise for me. I suggest taking it back for a new one as it seems like a faulty order.

  • A: Very easy. You have the fan, and two base pieces. Connect the two base pieces like Lego, unscrew the large red twist at the bottom of the fan. Put the fan on top of the base. Feed the wire through the red twist and base. Screw the red twist into place.

Tower fan....no air

Purchased 2 units. Returning both. You need to be in VERY close proximity of the unit to reap the air flow. Using my ceiling fan + the tower fan was somewhat better but the tower fan alone was not satisfactory.

Very quiet with good airflow

It has really good airflow while sounding very quiet. The remote control is super convenient. The dimming display is also something I really like. Overall it's a solid fan for living rooms, bed rooms, or maybe even offices.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So pleased with this Honeywell fan! It is sleek and lightweight and doesn’t take up much space. It does come with a remote so you can change the settings without getting up. It has 8 fan settings from sleep to power cool which go from extremely quiet and barely any sound to full power fan with noise. The fan also oscillates to fill the whole room and even has a timer that you can set from 1-8 hours. With 8 settings you can easily control and decide how much air you need. This fan is awesome whether you just need a small breeze or full blast to cool off. This is going to be great for the summer and hot months or for keeping cool while sleeping

Perfect for your bedroom!

Having a remote makes it great to change the speed and oscillation from wherever you’re sitting or sleeping, as well! Not too heavy to lift, but still very sturdy.

Ratting Non Stop on All Settings

I’m so sad about this one cause I really liked the size and the design but unfortunately, no matter what setting it’s on, or whether it’s on carpet or hardwood, it rattles soooo loud, like something it consistently hitting it. I definitely don’t recommend for sleeping. Had to return. I’ve had luck with Holmes over the years so I feel like I’ll be sticking with them.

Cools well but is a little louder than wished

But after testing it in our master, it may stay at our house 🙈 I love how much cooler our room has been feeling because of it. I took a star away because my husband and I both said we wished it was a little quieter. I love that it can rotate or not rotate, you can cut off the blue light, and it’s got a timer too.

Wouldn't purchase again

I have 2 of these fans & neither are quiet. They started off ok, but after several uses, they both make rattling noises when oscillating. The only quiet fan speed is the "sleep", but now I am woken up with rattling noises in the middle of the night that continues even after turning off oscillating mode. The other fan speeds get progressively louder as you increase the speed, which is to be expected.

Assembly was quick and easy, which made setup stress-free. I really love that you can switch between different fan modes depending on how cool or comfortable you want the room to feel. The fan is also pretty tall, so it does a great job circulating air throughout the entire room. The oscillation feature helps keep the room cool and comfortable without the air feeling concentrated in one spot. Another thing I appreciate is the included remote control. It’s super convenient not having to constantly get up to adjust the settings. This fan is definitely worth it! Overall, this fan works great, looks nice, and has definitely been a product I enjoy using daily.
