  • A: I find that Vanicream works wonders for dry patches and skin irritations, definitely safe for infants! Apply often (every few hours to get the issue to clear up quick) https://www.target.com/p/vanicream-moisturizing-skin-cream-16-oz/-/A-13967260 If he seems to be itchy you can mix a little of this hydrocortisone with the Vanicream too, but check with your ped first. Also, if the patches start looking better than at night once skin is very dry Aquaphor helps keeps mouisture in the skin, just a tiny is needed too.

Aveeno 1% Hydrocortisone Anti-Itch Cream is very effective at stopping the itch. It has a nice scent. The size of the tube makes it very easy to dispense the correct amount. It has a smooth texture which makes rubbing it in very smooth.

Fast acting

This product provides fast effective relief for itching. I use it after I get a bug bite, poison ivy, minor, skin, burn, or irritation, or even have an eczema flareup. This is very moisturizing and fast acting. This is something that I would describe as having to be a must have in your vehicle, on a hiking trip, or just handy in your purse if you’re in Minnesota girl like I am.

Works so fast!

This hydrocortisone cream is for my favorites. Recently, my son started breaking out on his bottom and we weren’t sure where it came from. Our only assumption was that he had like would’ve been bitten by a few ants while playing outside the day before. This Aveeno cream gave him so much relief and it started working very quickly. By day two, the itching had completely subsided. I love that it’s odorless, and it works super fast! 10/10!!

If I need hydrocortisone, I prefer this one

Great product that helps bring relief from itchy skin. I found that it is most effective with a thin layer used consistently. The texture is thick so I like to just use a small amount and let it dry. I prefer this brand to others because I have found it to be less irritating.

Sumac relief

My husband was MISERABLE after being exposed to some poison sumac while doing yard work recently. We went out & bought several products to try to bring him relief. This Aveeno product was by far his favorite and he ended up using it up. The ingredients were soothing & helped with the itching. Worked overnight!
