The pasta was mush and the cheese was just alright. I did my best to not overcook it. But the shells are so tiny, it turned quickly. Yes, it's rice, so the water turns white and looked so bubbly at one point, it looked soapy. I was questioning the pasta, so I tried just a small bit of cheese with a small bit of pasta. It wasn't for me. I tried to cook regular pasta instead and add the cheese sauce. It left a lot to be desired. I spent more than an hour, trying to cook a silly box of Mac n cheese that should have been easy. Likely, user error. But it just wasn't that tasty regardless.

Gives this Celiac girly some sense of normal!
I wanted to hate it, but instead I honestly love this mac and cheese so much. I was recently diagnosed with Celiac and had to change everything about the way I eat. When I just want something easy, it isn't really easy anymore and this product really helped me have that little bit of normalcy back. You have to cook it right, that's super important. I know it's small but use a larger pot of water then normal, boil for six to eight minutes and don't stop stirring. RINSE your noodles when they're done. I can't stress how much of a game changer rinsing the noodles was for their taste and texture. I'm not a huge fan of most other brands, this one is a safe staple for me!

Disappointed
It’s been a minute since we’ve had this product. We used to love it. I’m not sure if the recipe changed or we got a bad batch, but this was so salty it was inedible. I need to preface that we are a family that like salt ,so this was SALTY.

Fantastic. I had given up on Annie’s due to the quality of the powdered cheese boxes. This is very good and very quick even for rice pasta. YOU MUST RINSE THE PASTA BEFORE OR AFTER COOKING OR ELSE IT WILL HAVE A WEIRD TEXTURE!!! Annie’s should add this to the boxed instructions. This is a universal concept around rice and rice pastas. Also, do not overcook. Go al dente. It’s only mushy and weird if you do not follow this. Please sell directly on your site!!

Basic, Bland, Unhealthy
Underwhelmed. The processed cheese sauce tastes just like the one from the original brand of mac & cheese. On the plus side, there's a good amount of it. Also, since it comes as a sauce and not a powder, there's no need to add milk or butter to this. Convenient. The pasta shells are made from white rice & have no nutritive value. They also taste like they're made from white rice, in an unpleasant way. Good thing there's so much cheese sauce. I don't understand why this cost me twice as much as the popular brand in this category. Both components (pasta & sauce) are highly processed foods. If the sauce was at least covering up a highly nutritious pasta to get it past picky eaters, that'd be a small win. But it's not. This is a kids' party food.

Best gluten free Pasta and cheese, so much better than the powdered products. Much prefer the sauce packet. Finally I can eat Mac and cheese and not feel sick after. Please let me as a Canadian living in Calgary where I can buy or order this product.

Velveeta slop. I have never thrown away something as quickly in my life as I did this. Velveeta slop. It cooks up like slop it does not hold it shape at all. It literally looks like oatmeal cooked. And then they give you a packet of Velveeta. Nothing is more disgusting

Not Delicious
My granddaughter was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease. She has always been a fan of Annie's Organic Mac & Cheese so I was happy when I found the individual gluten free servings. She liked those a lot but I can no longer find them. I bought this product and she did not like it at all! I tried the shells and both the taste and texture were disappointing. I wasted my money and this product is not inexpensive.

Not so great anymore
This used to be great product, but during the pandemic they changed from the elbow pasta to shells, and it hasn't been that great since. The texture is mushy, and does not re-heat well at all. It tastes like there was also a change in the sauce flavor. I hope they go back to the original recipe and bring back the elbow-shaped pasta. We stopped buying it after the change. Not great, especially with a huge price increase.

Awful cheese and the pasta is mushy!
This was not a good purchase. I ended up feeding it to my dogs as I did not like the texture of the noodles and the cheese was not very good tasting. - plus there is way more cheese in the packet that Jan needed.

2,370g of sodium in one box. more than 100 percent of Daily Value (max sodium someone should have in a day). tastes fine but not worth the health implications

Chemical taste in liquid cheese sauce.
Had a very bad chemical type taste to the cheese in the packet. We always buy the regular with the powder mix and our grandchildren love it but... this was very bad. Tried contacting company but everytime we went to a complaint page it was a dead end. So sad.
