It applies smoothly, fills in sparse areas naturally, and the spoolie helps blend everything perfectly. The shade range is decent and it lasts most of the day without smudging. Great value for the price.

I like the brush it’s very nice. The pencil itself is not good. It tugs on my skin on my eyebrow hair and it’ll leave product clumped in between the hairs. It’s also not very pigmented or maybe I just got the wrong shade? The formula just isn’t very good, but you get what you pay for.

I love the taupe color for my skin color and hair color, however the brush is flimsy and has bent both times when I purchased this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been filling in my eyebrows since before it was cool, so let’s just say, a while lol. Given that info, I have tried nearly every eyebrow pencil under the sun, so I appreciate Influenster sending me this, as I believe I am a perfect product tester for anything eyebrow related, having tried so many brands, makes, and models haha. My fave pencils are NYX (go-to), Anastasia, Benefit, Hourglass, and surprisingly my favorite: Bare Minerals (which much to my dismay, has since been discontinued). It’s important to note that my eyebrows are microbladed so the color of the product is a huge factor in my review, as post microblade fading…it is so incredibly hard to cover up the old ink that has now turned a grayish green color… Anyways now onto my review: Pros: -Formula: 10/10–chef’s kiss. Not too creamy. Not too hard -Durability: 8/10 (I believe this is largely due to my skin being rather oily…so if you’re an oily girly, imo, you’ll want to set this with a setting powder or gel after applying to avoid transfer) -Price: 10/10 I love elf for continually offering affordable quality products that the average consumer can enjoy without cutting corners on the quality! -Longevity (how long product lasts): 6/10 Given that I’m filling in a rather large area, I didn’t feel like this pencil lasted long, though I do realize I likely use more product than the average consumer -Color (Shade): 2/10 I received the shade “Deep Brown.” As I mentioned above, I need a darker brown hue due to my need for concealing my leftover, existing microblading ink. This is tricky bc too dark of a shade can look overwhelming/noticeable and too light of a brown doesn’t conceal the existing ink I have and tends to create an almost greenish hue on my skin. The “Deep Brown” shade/color was a huge disappointment as it’s a weird brown—incredibly dark to the point of it being almost black. I believe the “Natural Brown” shade would have been too light. I wish the pencil came in more shades as there see to be drastic shade increases from one to the next. Also there are only 6 shades available, whereas many other lines offer double that. Overall, this is a great pencil that’s quality is comparable to far pricier brands. However, due to the shade range, I can’t give it 5 stars. Likely wouldn’t buy again, due to this.
