Perfect size to fit in our shower and while traveling (road trip) for family. Good conditioner works great for soft or hard water we may experience along the way.

You only need a little bit and it feels nice and smooth in your hair.

Everyone tells you that Pantene is a brand known for its affordable but substandard products but is that true? People look at Pantene and ask the question “why are there so many ingredients doing one simple thing?” The question I want to answer is: “are all the ingredients in Pantene's products needed?” My goal here today is to explain what each ingredient is and for you to decide if there are still too many ingredients. Having already written a review for Pantene Moisture Shampoo, I am going to dive into the Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner. There are 10 ingredients (not including water and fragrance) in this conditioner, and to help simplify what everything does, I am going to separate the ingredients into 3 different categories: preservatives, conditioners, and cleaners/emulsifiers. The first group we will tackle is preservatives, which are there so the product can last and not grow mold. Since there's water in the product, it can grow bacteria fast, which becomes a problem if you put it in your hair. There are 3 different preservatives in this conditioner: Methylisothiazolinone Methylchloroisothiazolinone Benzyl Alcohol. The next group is conditioners. The ingredients in this category help strengthen your hair, seal split ends, and moisturize your hair. The purpose of this product is to help condition your hair, so it doesn’t surprise me that the most amount of ingredients are in this category. There are 4 ingredients in this category; Citric acid Histidine Panthenol Stearyl alcohol. These ingredients also help seal split ends and balance pH, contributing to your hair's health. The last group is cleaners, and emulsifiers. Cleaners are there to help remove excess oil and dirt from the mids and ends of your hair. They leave you with the cleansed hair while the conditions leave you with soft and smooth hair. Emulsifiers help thicken and combine ingredients, and are like a bag for all the ingredients. There are 3 items in this category; Cetyl Alcohol Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid Sodium Chloride. In conclusion, each and every ingredient in this conditioner adds to the product. You need to try this product because all hair is different, and there is a chance this product doesn’t work for you. Even though there are a lot of ingredients, you can’t judge a book by its cover before trying or learning more about it. I've tried so many conditioners, nothing works as good as this one. Just to give you an example: kerastase, amika, redken, matrix, etc. Nothing conditions as good as this. Always get compliments from hair dressers if I use it 😂

I just love this conditioner it makes my hair smell so good and makes my hair so soft

I've been using this for years, but the fragrance recently changed, and not in a good way. Smells like cheap perfume now. I'll be looking for nee haircare products.

They messed with the ingredients and lost so many loyal customers. This was my HG conditioner for years but not it doesn't moisturize as well and it doesn't smell the same. Hair feels much more dry and it smells weird after being outside. Kinda like a wet dog smell. It never did this before. I saw a lot of people saying the problem is the glycerin they added, but there's also sodium chloride now too, PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!

They changed the formula. Used this for years and now it doesn't moisturize hair as well or even smell the same. Such a bummer.

I have dry, thin waves. I have tried expensive brands but always come back to Pantene. This conditioner is my favorite.
