A: Hello! The BISSELL CrossWave HydroSteam Plus Steam Cleaner does have 3 different mode. They are Area Rug, Steam Wash, and Hard Floor Mode. You can cycle through these modes based on the surfaces you are cleaning!

A: The machine will clean up to about an inch from the floor boards. We do a model called the BISSELL CrossWave Edge that cleans up to the edge.

A: Hi Vanessa. The CrossWave can be used on area rugs. By refresh we mean the surface of your area rug will be clean and nice smelling again. However, please keep in mind that this product is not intended to work as a carpet cleaner.

A: Hi Connie. In Steam Wash mode, the BISSELL CrossWave HydroSteam will heat the internal water temperature to 212F to produce steam. The average temperature of the steam on your floor (in Steam Mode) is 30C—35C (86—95F), but you may see a max temperature of 50C—55C (122-131F).

I Highly Recommend The Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam Plus!
I was skeptical about this all in one vacuum floor cleaner, so I used my regular vacuum cleaner on my area rugs. I used the Bissell CrossWave on my floors & rugs, I'm amazed at how well it works. The floors & rugs don't remain wet for very long afterwards. I had so much cat hair in the dirty water reservoir, I was stunned, I thought my house was clean, plus I pre-vacuumed the rugs. It's a fantastic product!

Waste of money
Doesn’t have strong suction so essentially leaves soapy trail throughout the house. We have planking throughout the common areas of our home and the roller becomes so saturated so quickly it creates suds despite trying multiple different floor cleaning solutions and following dilution instructions per manufacturer. The studs wouldn’t be a problem if the suction were strong enough to fully collect them, leaving a clean floor versus dirty studs.

Trash, don’t buy it. Didn’t even work on my area rug , which is the reason I bought it. Kept shutting off because it sucked up the rug. (I have a huge “washable” rug ) (too much work to wash it every time. Was hoping this would do a trick) Hardwood floors still dirty. (Did the sock test on it)

Just upgraded my CrossWave to a HydroSteam
I LOVE my new CrossWave HydroSteam! This is my second CrossWave and I am very happy with my purchase! I typically vacuum and then steam my tile floors. The HydroSteam can do all of that and is great for quick cleanups. I love the small area/rug cleaning capability.

I think this thing changed my life
I have awful laminate flooring that seems to be dirty no matter what I do. I also have a large dog that sheds EVERYWHERE. I see tumbleweeds of hair within hours after sweeping. This thing changed the game! It was easy to use and got all of my dogs hair within ease. It feels so nice to walk on my floor and it smells amazing in here. 10/10.

left pools of water on my floor and just pushed around my little debris that I had on my floor. Dispenses too much water when you are told to hold the trigger it will steam. Would not recommend buying.

Do not buy this or any other crosswave!!
This is a great idea in theory but absolutely terrible in reality. The wheels leave streaks no matter if they are clean or dirty you have to wipe up after them or there will be streaks. The floor is sticky afterwards. The soap and using tap water will blow the motor after a year or so. Leaks no matter what- if you put the lid on the water container right or not. If you're going to spend this much on a vacuum buy a Dyson.

No shipping box?!? Really?!!
Haven’t even opened the box but really disappointed that Target would think it’s smart to ship this just in its packaging and no other box. I live on the ground floor. If not for my neighbor who was kind enough to come across the street and bring my items inside while I was at work an hour away someone would have had a lovely gift for free. Do better Target!!!!
