Mystery Blue Stuff
The cheese didn’t melt very well but my biggest concern is the blue mystery pieces I found inside it while cooking! (And they didn’t come from my cookware). I’m too grossed out to buy them again.

Sadly there was very little butternut squash flavor and all the cheese clumped into a single, stringy, plastic-tasting mass. Not even adding freshly shaved cheese could save this from being underwhelming.

Good Squash Pasta
Family loved it. I agree with comments that it is not mac n cheese it is just pasta with squash sauce. I add extra parmesan cheese and black pepper. The photo I provided barely has the pasta because everyone ate it all.

Bland but easy to improve
The flavor of the previous version was better; the cheese and butternut squash flavor was much better than the mozzarella in this current form. However, the noodles are much better with this update. To improve the flavor, I added Parmesan, Gruyère, and salt/pepper.

Bad and weird
It’s honestly so bad… there’s not really any butternut squash flavor, or any flavor, and it’s not “mac and cheese”. It’s more like noodles in a pasta sauce, but Target used to sell a Butternut Squash pasta sauce in a jar that was WAY better than this. There is some sort of cheese but it took forever to combine into the sauce and once I sat down to eat it, it immediately separated and was hard and chewy. Just bad and weird. I threw it out after forcing myself to try 4 bites.
